Use the "Insert Note" button in the Zotero Word add-on to get quotes with live citations from Zotero into Word

My current workflow when reviewing literature is to read the PDF in Zotero's native reader -> highlight text -> manually copy phrases or rephrase them -> paste or type in MS Word -> add citation in MS

I want to write in Ulysses and drop in citations from Zotero. When I'm done, I want to be able to export the document to Word with formatted citations and bibliography.

adamsmith, got it working! The issue was that I was creating the RTF file in MS Word (2016). Zotero did not like it. I reopened and saved using Windows Wordpad. Worked perfectly! Thanks for the tip.

I am having an issue with searching phrases within an academic article, where words in the phrase are on separate lines.

Help, in same existing word, when i add another citation, it count back to 1 and the bilbiography is gone (before it's already 58)

Hi @dstillman, there are no changes to the observed problems yet, neither the differing number of search results nor the strange behaviour when searching for part of a word.

Beyond that, see Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents.

I am having a same problem. For new mac, the jurism M Plugin has vanished from Microsoft word.

Yes. You will have to reset your Word config. Start with renaming your Normal.dotm (to something else, like Normal.dotm.bak) and let Word recreate it https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-

Hm. This is highly unusual. It's most likely something with Word config. The quickest way to test that is to create a new Windows user account and see whether it works there.

Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero for inserting a bibliography into a new document with one cited book with APA? Do you get italics in other word processors: LibreOffice or Google Docs?
