What OS, OS version, and Word version?

If you have 16.76 and that's crashing as well, you should try temporarily removing the EndNote plugin from Word as well as any other add-ins (all in Templates and Add-ins) and restarting Word.

First thing to try would be updating Word — you're a few versions behind the current version.
