I make use of the 'Extracted Annotations' feature a lot. Especially on PDFs I have pointed to that exist on my computer (in conjunction with Zotfile).

The relative paths worked great between the two computer *until* I asked zotfile to move and link the files.

Using Zotfile I've switched the location of the pdf files to a custom location so that all attached files appear in zotero as links.

Linked files also don't sync, so if you're using ZotFile to store linked files, those don't have anything to do with WebDAV syncing either.
