    Yes, you understand. More broadly, if there is any way to organize or color-code the tags, like I have done above, without affecting the representation of the papers, that would be wonderful.

    You're saying you want to use colored tags instead of emoji because the colors are displayed more compactly, and if you could assign the same color to multiple tags it would only be displayed once?

    Technically, it created annotations with an alpha channel for transparency. We don't allow an alpha channel in our annotation colors.

    As I remenbered, in last version, there's an "Aa" button on the toolbar for adjusting PDF's background & foreground color, but it disappears now.

    On the desktop version (macOS), there’s an option called “Use Dark Mode for Content” which lets you keep the interface in dark mode while still displaying the PDF in its original format (light mode).
