Separate dark mode for interface and PDF viewer on Zotero for iPad

Hi,

I’d like to suggest an improvement for Zotero on iPad:

Currently, switching between light or dark mode on iPad changes the appearance of both the app interface and the PDF viewer. This means that if I use dark mode (to reduce eye strain at night), the PDF is also inverted (dark background, light text), which distorts the original appearance of images and scanned pages.

On the desktop version (macOS), there’s an option called “Use Dark Mode for Content” which lets you keep the interface in dark mode while still displaying the PDF in its original format (light mode). This is extremely useful to preserve the accuracy of figures, diagrams, and color images.

It would be great to have a similar setting on the iPad app:
- Interface in dark mode
- PDF viewer in light mode (with original document appearance)

This would significantly improve the reading experience for academic users who rely heavily on visual content.

Is this feature planned? Or is there a possible workaround?

Thank you!
