Thanks for that suggestion, I did moved the file as advised an restarted Word app. It then recreated a new Normal.dotm file after a little while, but this unfortunately didn't resolved the issue.

If you have modified you Normal.dotm template in Word the Zotero tab might not appear. Resetting it might help. Find your Normal.dotm file under C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates
