    You can extract them all with ZotFile and then copy to multiple notes. Each notes can have its own set of tags, so with a bit of work you can probably get this.

    Also tried to see if any different zutilo and/or zotfile settings would make a difference. Eventually, with zotfile (I think) Better Bibtex format exported my collection with a good and updated .bib

    Another suggestion for a maybe/later: so far zotfile just generates one report per file, and it does not do anything special if there are a few new comments as compared to the previously extracted fil

    ALL of my pdf documents are now scrambled. is this a firefox or zotero update conflict. Even with Zutilo and Zotfile disabled, the are all still coming up as corrupt. Nothing else has been done on my

    ZotFile works with Zotero. Zotero can be installed either as a Firefox extension or as a separate program (Zotero Standalone). If you're using Zotero in Safari, you're probably also using Zotero Stand

    If you want to move your files around based on metadata in Zotero, then that's possible using ZotFile plugin for Zotero. Other than that, I don't see any way we can improve this.

    Try to to edit some ZotFile hidden prefs (Zotero Prefs->Advanced->Open about:config, click yes, type the name of the prefs). The relevant prefs are formatAnnotationNote and formatAnnotationHighlight.

    so yes to this, would I be right to say that zotfile only moves pdf and not the other attachments such as snapshots, notes etc (because I don't see these in the folder on google drive).
