    Adam, I'm having the same problem. I'm using Zotfile to send PDFs to my iPad, then making annotations using iAnnotate. But when I bring the PDFs back into Zotero, Zotfile won't extract the annotations

    thanks for replying. Yeah it is with Zotfile. Everything else seems to be working ok but frustratingly I cant seem to get any annotations extracted.

    PDFs attached to items yes, PDFs dragged/added to Zotero as top level items no (though you can use Zotfile's "Manage Attachments" to move them easily after adding them to a top level item).

    I'd guess that ZotFile is converting your stored attachments to linked attachments, which can't currently be added to groups.

    ZotFile will do that. You can't do it with just Zotero, no.
