The MLA database used to import correctly, but when I now try to import, it will only record the webpage for the database item, rather than the actual item itself. Is there any way to resolve this?

If you rapidly import lots of results, ProQuest might start throttling and displaying captchas or similar anti-robot devices. Could that be what's going on?

Also note that many ProQuest databases work using a site-specific translator. You may be able to just click the icon next to your address bar to import from that site without needing to export an RIS

Hi -- This exact issue is happening again with ProQuest. Zotero will not download the PDF in either Firefox or Chrome (Standalone or Firefox extension).

if you're going through a proxy server for authentication, you won't get PDFs when importing from several sites (most notably EBSCO, Proquest, and Sciencedirect) and using Safari or Chrome.
