Footnote formatting (like indents, font size, spacing, etc.) is handled by your word processor, not Zotero.

You have 4 copies of the Zotero Add-in listed in the Word Add-Ins list, 3 active and 1 inactive (in your original screen grab that you then removed).

Deleted and reinstalled both Zotero and Word tried everything.

The style should (and generally does) add initials to those automatically, as the Manual prescribes. The italics are odd and shouldn't be there. Which word processor is this? What happens in a new doc

You likely just need to wait longer. Word integration on macOS is unfortunately fairly slow currently.

You didn't log anything related to the Word plugin in that debug output.

I have waited a few hours. I am in tha latest OS version (mac Sonoma 14.5), I have Word for Mac Version 16.78.3.
