I found a way to use Zotero with LiquidText and DropBox. You need the plugin ZotFile to make this work.

Now I can't get Zotfile and WORD for Mac tools to work. Would the connector beta have impacts to how these ad ons work?

I can't help with ZotFile itself, but it's quite likely a problem with a specific file (filename or path), not the number of files. You should be able to narrow down the list to find the item in quest
