The online author guidelines indicate to use either the DOI (for epub articles) or the volume and pages (standard article). If you only want to show volume, pages for an article and not showing the doi, then you can delete the doi information (mayb…

@Dan: Is there anything in these reports?
-
I don't have access to the article you mentioned, but it works for me for example here http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0957417415006235 Can you also provide a report ID and some more information about your setup (e.g. OS, browser)?
-
Could you provide an url of an article in Science Direct as you see it and which fail to download the pdf with zotero?

Yes, I can replicate that JSTOR is not working on Mac with Safari. The changes the JSTOR.js in the data directory of the standalone will not make any difference. Actually, I even tried to put the empty string as browser report or changed its label, …

Okay, the update should be available now (normally your style is updated automatically).
-
Okay, thank you for the information. I will improve the ordering for this style in the repository.
-
I can try to look at JSTOR and its behaviour with the Zotero translators with a Mac. I will try to do it today. Is there anything special I should look for?
-
You would need a new sort node under the inline citations and use "author-short" as sorting key, cf. documentation of CSL. I couldn't find the rule in the style guide. Where did you found the rule about the alphabetically order of inline citations?
-
@noorafsar: You write about a journal in the title. Do you mean Chemical Engineering & Technology with its instructions for authors here? At least it looks like exactly the same example. For chemistry you might also want to check the ACS styles.

Okay, I see, it is hardcoded here: https://github.com/zotero/zotero-word-for-windows-integration/blob/master/build/template/Zotero.dotm/customUI/customUI.xml . Thus, it is indeed not possible to switch the language in the Zotero Word Plugin. --> …

I reverted the list in https://www.zotero.org/support/getting_stuff_into_your_library?&#importing_from_other_tools and linked to a new created page https://www.zotero.org/support/import_formats and added some of the comments by adamsmith. Please…

Yeah, that was the reason I was suggesting that Springer Vancouver might be the new style here. I checked yesterday some articles and the style guide: I haven't found any sepcial formatted (bold, italics) elements. The order of elements and interpun…

Thank you for the information. Yes, it seems that Genome Biology is not anymore using BMC style. However, it looks that they are using now this style https://www.zotero.org/styles/?q=Springer Vancouver (brackets) . Does this look correct?
-
Okay, let us see if and how we can implement this. I try to keep you updated here, but it may take a little longer, since this function is more deeply in the Zotero core code. @zurpher: Feel free to ping again here after some time.

I think "rft.subject" and "rft.description" are not part of the COinS standard. At least this would make sense, because the standard was originally invented for a linking system (OpenURL), where you do not need annotations. Can someone confirm that?
-
@staceylr59: Do you really mean _one_ IP address or rather (as it would usual from different users in the same wifi) one IP _range_ of addresses?
-
No, I don't know much about the WoS translator. I am just reponsible for the splitting of WoS translator and the corresponding import translator.
-
Okay, I tried the example and it worked fine for me (Zotero 4.0.28.6 as Firefox Addon, Win 8.1) and returned just one entry. What browser, OS are you using? There is a comment in the translator code, which might be connected to what you see here: //…

Click on the arrow down, to choose the method for saving and in the case here the second one with "Embedded Metadata" works fine.

I udpated the pictures in the beginning. I don't know how to proceed about the list: I suggested to have the full list on a separate page (import formats) and link it from the short list.

I can confirm that on Win 8.1 and my report ID is 824812434.

According to the manual you can export your library into different formats: If you find this is preferable, however, you can export your Citation datafiles in a number of different formats. Endnote Refer ProCite RIS (Reference Manager)Given your exa…

Everything is fine and your style is up: https://www.zotero.org/styles/harvard-york-st-john-university . Thank you for your contribution.

We will update the official style in the repo according to the new style, such that you can use it for submitting a paper to the journal. However, it seems that you want (for some reason) your own version of the style. how i can manually add this sp…

Thank you for your comments. I see now a little clearer the problem: The section is called "Import from other Tools" where the headline before the list ist called "Zotero can import the following bibliographic file formats", which indicates for me a…
