I am looking forward to hear about your progress. Maybe, it is even interesting for the official CSV export translator.

(Long answer): The function `Zotero.getCollections` is part of Zotero and can be used in the JavaScript API, i.e. for creating extensions based on Zotero, but you cannot use this function in translator code. If you want to look at the wiki (which mi…

(Short answer:) Try to look at the Zotero RDF translator for inspiration: https://github.com/zotero/translators/blob/master/Zotero RDF.js

Yes, I can confirm this issue. It looks like IEEE Xplore has done some (smaller) redesign of their pages. Thereby, also multiples are not not working anymore and from the author names only initials are saved. The last point looks for me like an over…

A translator fix for grabbing the pdfs is now up. Your version of Zotero will automatically update within 24hs, or you can update manually using the "Update Now" button in the "General" tab of the Zotero preferences. If you're using Standalone, rest…

The book series is part of the Dagstuhl Research Online Publication Server (DROPS) and I agree that it makes sense to support that. I will look into this.

Hast Du mehrere Referenzen, welche mit "Köpke u.a. 2015"…

Can you describe exactly what EBSCO-database you are searching and what you searched for? Maybe also the url might help to see your query parameter. I just tried out some query in BSP datababase and it worked fine.

You can just wait for the automatic update of your translators or update your translators manually by pressing the "Update now" button in the preferences General tab https://www.zotero.org/support/preferences/general

BTW Excel (and also LibreOffice Calc) can split text into different cells itself, see https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Split-text-into-different-cells-30b14928-5550-41f5-97ca-7a3e9c363ed7 .

It seems that Google Scholar just changed the link to the BibTeX file. Currently we expect in the translator a relative url to this file. @Dan, @adamsmith I created a PR in the translators directory in GitHub to fix it.

Example url which fails?

I guess you mean the ACS translator, see https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/60964/translator-error-with-american-chemistry-society-websites/

I created an issue for a potential ORCID translator in the github repo.

Ah, I see you are adapting this translator for another purpose. I think you have to use another variable and increment accordingly, i.e. In the beginning of the for loop add var count = 0; and in the end of the for loop add count++; Then just outp…

The CSV translator should already put authors and for example editors in different columns (by default authors land in column D and editors in column AP). In the translator code the getValue function will be called once with field="creators/author" …

No, that is a good idea. We should IMO use the fields //addata/cop and also //addata/pub whenever they are available. Moreover, I would suggest to prefer these fields over similar fields from the display part.

I suggest to use the information from the price list (title, issn, eissn), which I copied to the your document in another tab.

Do you work on Windows, Mac or Linux? (I am trying to understand what actually causes the error, and more info might help here.)

If the doi is in the meta field, then we can extract it from there. I prepare a commit for that. However, taking all tags looks too much and not useful anymore. The examples shows Thesaurusschlagwörter, Klassifikation, Freie Schlagwörter moreover, …

There might be (still) a problem with Cochrane in connectors which results from some frame problems. I guess that is what you are seeing, LiborA. However, the initial report here from cb102 was done with Firefox (on Linux). And in Firefox this shou…

The export format you mentioned above looks similar to RIS, but it isn't following the standard (no TY tag, no ER tag at the end, : instead of -). However, you can choose one of the other export format for EndNote, Reference Manager, ProCite which l…

I tried your example page from Springer and I can save the first articles (I just chose 7). Yes, it takes some seconds to wait but then they are there for me.
