A translator update is available now. This should handle pedocs as well (pdfs and multiple), fix encoding and drop the snapshots. Your version of Zotero will automatically update within 24hs, or you can update manually using the "Update Now" button…

Okay, thank you for that link. I was thinking about the recent changes in the client for easier bibliography language selection: https://www.zotero.org/blog/zotero-4-0-27-streamlined-saving-easier-bibliography-language-selection-and-more/ . Could it…

I would like to express that I think that the use case here would be very useful to support in Zotero directly (or with a plugin). It is common that the same author, organization, journal name will be written different in different sources and it i…

I will not have time to do anything super soon, but I try to look closer here within the next week(s).
-
Which information would you save in which field in Zotero in your example? (Feel free to write in German)

Currently the beck-online translator is focusing on journal article and might have problems to work e.g. in commentaries. I can try to look if we can extend that, but normally citation work in law sciences is complicated. The example you posted is …
-
Ah, I see. It should be possible to use this format then. However, it looks to me, that this would be a new translator for pedocs because the two things are too different. I will give it a try...

Yeah, I think the problem/difference is that for the Fachportal Pädagogik we can use the BibTeX, but this option does not exists for pedocs. There is only the possibility to export in Endnote format (enw), which is AFAIK not supported by Zotero. The…

I guess that there are some other export translator which are dealing with that, e.g. Zotero RDF seems to handle that somehow. However, for such modification you have to be familiar with JavaScript programming language. You could export collection-…

Your old referenced article might have no url and you might need to copy it from a printed journal. Just ask a librarian at your institution for help. Here are the the details from PubMed: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6398290

Okay, the style will appear soon in the repository. Let us know any errors or inconsistencies. @ikashnitsky Thank you for your work at the beginning. I am looking for your next commit.
-
Okay, I finished your version, see the PR on github: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/1913
-
Okay, I am looking into this now. I will try to use your work on that for a quick start.

Add this parameter to the citation node disambiguate-add-year-suffix="true" See also https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step and http://docs.citationstyles.org/en/stable/specification.html#disambiguation

Hm.. I don't think we have to change to EM. I think we can grab the data from the request which proceed normally the final one, e.g. https://www.aeaweb.org/content/articles/include/file_export.php?doi=10.1257/aer.101.7.3130&format=ris (see my PR…

(Typo: It should read COinS.)

@cliffordgrant: Can you click on the "Copy Document Link" symbol on the top right and write that link here?
-
Yes, this comma before "and" in an enumeration might be grammatically wrong in a lot of languages, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_comma#Other_languages (e.g. wrong also in German).

The style guide says: "Ideally, the names of all authors should be provided, but the usage of “et al” in long author lists will also be accepted" --> Both seem to be okay. Morevoer, it does not want alphabetical order of the references: "The ent…

@bwiernik, @adamsmith: I copied and paste the information in a new kb page: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/doi_in_apa . Maybe you can help to improve that text and make it understandable?

Please note that DBLP is a bibliographic, open database and not publishing itself papers, i.e. they are collecting bibliographic metadata from diverse sources and provide that aggregated and processed data. Thus, I doubt that you will find any/many …

@dianegal: That is not working in Zotero for Firefox either when trying to add it by the magic wand. However, it works when I use the DOI translator on the corresponding webpage: http://www.akademiai.com/doi/abs/10.1023/A:1005640604267 @Dan: Maybe …

Okay, can you contact AEA and tell them that their export is broken and ask to fix that?
-
It seems for me that the "Export Citation" on that page is not working anymore. Do you know if that happens on other AEAweb pages as well? Do you have access to the papers? (Maybe it is also different if one has access to the papers.)
-
The fix for the authors is accepted and will be distributed shortly. Your style should update automatically.
-
It is listed as "Basic, Nonstandard", and therefore claims to have a nonstandard format for in-text citations. But maybe this is not true?
-
Okay, I will try to fix the formatting of the authors in the bibliography. For the last point: Can you check your Zotero preferences->Cite->Styles->Citation options: Include URLs of paper articles in references should be deactivated.
-
Thank you. I can confirm that this is fixed in the beta (tested on windows and linux).

You can go to the arXiv page itself and save the metadata in the first place, which will also save the pdf for you: http://arxiv.org/abs/physics/0512106v1
