Zotero notes are stored in \\Data\Zotero\Data\zotero.sqlite files and in the ItemNotes table of the zotero.sqlite database. They store text only and do not contain images.

Hi johnmy, Thank you, this is currently the fastest way. I hope that in the future, Zotero can add a method to add tags by clicking on existing tags, which would be more convenient.
