Aha! The fix is easy: Add the emoji to the *end* of the tag, not the beginning. Search then works just fine, and so does the emoji-detection
-
Related, but more pressing: When I click on an annotation in the sidebar when a PDF is selected, I expect it to open the PDF and jump to that annotation.
-
Argh, but then how do you add the tag? I can name a tag "✔️Read,” and the “✔️” shows up nicely, but then when I add a tag and type “read,” it doesn’t come up as a suggestion!
-
Because if you could, that would be amazing. But I can’t see how.
-
Okay, but you can’t set your own reference chains with this, correct?
-
+1. Many similar programs hide all empty fields unless you are in an Edit mode. I would like to see this behavior in Zotero.
-
Thanks, I’ll check it out.

Did all of this actually result in a FindLaw translator? It doesn’t seem to be in the [list](https://github.com/zotero/translators/).
-
It’s not in the iOS app, so presumably it’s not in the Android app either.
-
I see the problem. I was right-clicking on text I had already highlighted. So my complaint is limited to that situation. Adding “Look Up” (in the system dictionary) and “Search with Google” (or the like) would be amazing. Even better if you also a…

Well, consider this a feature request.

Or phrases. For instance, if I select a reference to look up, no "Look Up" or "Search Web" option appears.

Fixed!

Darn.

Has this been added? It doesn't seem to be working.

Bump. I shouldn’t have to go Back and then select the next item in the list if I just want to read the entire documentation in one go.
-
Fixed!

Update: This is only the case for raw PDF entries.
-
I see. It doesn't support Notes for raw PDF items; you have to create a parent item first.
-
From this I gather that you can add notes on the iOS version (the only official mobile version). But for the life of me I can't see how to do it. [this](https://www.zotero.org/support/quick_start_guide#notes) says, "Rich-text notes can be attached t…

The culprit was Voice Control. When I turned Voice Control off, it worked fine.
-
That would be good too, but it’s also needed in the PDF viewer.
-
Actually two: Orange and grey.
-
Oh wow, what a great feature that would be.
-
Well, it’s hard to know without a list somewhere.
