@adamsmith or @damnation Might it be possible to fix the rendering for the `Archive` entry at least please?
-
OK, trying `Archive` but it renders the year twice in the Individual Citation. Is this a bug? Data fields: https://i.imgur.com/LbFM3kY.png Rendered result: https://i.imgur.com/BqxGz1g.png

Thanks. I think our situation is pretty common so perhaps warrants a bit of strategic attention. Many universities and major funding bodies now require formal accounting of 'non-traditional research outputs' or 'creative works'. Categories for the…

Using Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (full note), how can I understand what CSL variable from `Extra` the style will use and render? Had a look at the code but using CSL so rarely, I have forgotten all I knew. So, any guidance is welcome, plea…

I support the idea of lists, as well as a more strategic effort to make the management of large libraries and multiple groups easier. E.g., if the lists do not work across groups as the search does not, they will not be useful here.

-1, i vote for many other higher priorities instead. best to move from onenote to some markdown system, try it. :)

It should and outght to but it does not. Or at least not yet. :) https://github.com/wshanks/Zutilo/issues/248

Still needed.

Zutilo please... DOI Manager too. What about ZoteroPreview? The preview, as in the last one, should really be in the core application.
-
by the way, are the docs on GitHub or some such? The users could help you editing these...
-
Indeed, at least to confirm the ones we know work with 7. Some on that least have not been updated for some years...
-
I am also interested. Tried a while back and it did not work.

Thank you for the advice. How does it add/update this data? Via regex? A bit scary to let it write into the field that has other content. I guess I can try in a separate group/library. Or just live without it.

The problem is the Extra field stores lots of other essential information. Original Date: Medium: other stuff. So, it is not great to display this data in a column with citation counts mixed in and it is not great to delete the contents from this fi…

I guess this is the answer... https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/75791/search-for-filename-and-date-modified

Or sorry. So it does. Must be a case of selective blindness. In the full note version, 'forthcoming' appears at the end of the reference after a comma and this is where I was expecting to see it. But I see now that the position of the date is diff…

It is a journal article. Here is the data: https://i.imgur.com/WH0KkrI.png And this is what gets rendered: https://i.imgur.com/0nHF5mD.png By the way, how does one embed images in forum posts? I thought it was but this renders a broken image icon…

I can submit a PR if someone can confirm that this is a bug.

Ah, yes, PDF gets imported if I run from the relevant folder, thanks! Shall look at mapping. Any further tips about those duplicates?

If I modify a local translator, should I be saving a new translator with the new ID, name, whatever it needs? Or should I just keep the original as a backup and restore after I am done?
-
Thanks again. I see that RIS translator code is 7000 lines. Wow! Shall definitely need guidance here. :) Is RIS the best intermediate format? Here, they have presets for EndNote (not xml), RIS and latex. All minimal but I can extend. If it is R…

Thanks for the advice. Shall look. I shall try to write a recipe to see if I am missing something... But briefly: 2. The sources have PDF attachements. Each reference stores a string with a relative path. it woudl be good to have those added to t…

Yes, I get this. The purpose here is the opposite, for them not to see the attachments. But shall work with what we have. Thanks for the advice.
-
Thanks, sounds like this is the option to try. It would be better to be able to hide the attachments so that the users would not know that they are there as they cannot access them anyway and for privacy reasons.
