Thanks @dstillman, this helps. Emojis were an example for a more general question about the docs. It would help a lot to have the complete description of the new features. Not sure if I am failing to find that...

Actually Zotero Preview has been updated and works OK now. https://github.com/dcartertod/zotero-plugins
-
@dstillman "A future version of Zotero will make it possible to restore deleted collections from the trash" Not v6 by the looks? By the way, congratulations on the release.
-
Zotero Preview does not. :(
-
Thanks. Updated. Are all plugins working?
-
And what if my timestamps are wrong or some such? But understood, thanks for the clarification.
-
Got it, I think. Too scary to try. I think this time we shall just live with the damage. I do not want to make a mistake and mess up our reserach library and other groups.
-
"No. The section I linked to explains the process for restoring collections by duplicating them and then letting more recent changes propagate to the backup." Does it? Back to reading. :)
-
Yes, see them in the older backup in the DB Browser. Is there any way to only import collections and only to this group? I could try on a separate copy, disconnected, maybe?
-
This might kill some recent edits, I presume? Also, we have quite a few groups all with different users. Will not restoring in this way mess up all groups, possibl? If so, this is far too risky and it will be impossible to notice all changes. It is…

I was about to ask the same thing. Even an option to request to join would be good if it cannot be done automatically with a link. Also, do I presume that at the moment users have to be invited to a private group because they will not see the group…

@dstillman what about the round trip or cyclic workflows? export into markdown, edit with another tool, import back, edit in zotero, repeat. will that be possible?
-
I think exporting into individual files would be very useful, especially for introperation with markdown-based knowledge-management tools.

https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/REQUESTING.md#requesting-csl-styles
-
I think done, the branch is 'patch-1'
-
The original request here was for DOI-based web addresses for 'recent articles'. The current styles asks just for DOI numbers for 'online articles'. If you can suggest a way to differentiate 'online' journal articles from normal journal articles, le…

Corrected this style on GitHub following this: https://conbio.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/pb-assets/assets/15231739/Author Style Guide feb2019-1551741575403.pdf Can someone please verify and accept if OK?
-
Any tip on how I can do it in bulk for references that already have something tags? Ideally, one would want to run this on a saved search that would filter out the ones that have already been corrected.
-
@bwiernik Thanks, this works too.
-
OK, got it. Is this the only way? https://i.imgur.com/mli1XYl.png

Actually, the advice to use span does not seem to work for me. It also needs to combine with force italics. What am I missing? https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/rich_text_bibliography

Found it here https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/28012/stop-capitalizing-titles

+1 and actually +hundreds if I include collaborators and students
-
I agree that multicultural and, therefore, multi-language support are important, practically and ethically.
-
I would be curious to see what the others will advise and what you will decide to do. When I have asked in the past the advice was to use https://juris-m.github.io/ Something that I have not yet tried. The hope is the fields will get updated at so…

Thanks. Great.

Two suggestions: 1. can the name of the style be made visible above the style? 2. might it be possible to allow the user see more than one style side by side? there is plenty of space in that column and that can be useful when learning new styles o…

@dcartertod Ah, thanks. I presumed it would auto-update as other Zotero extensions. Can this be organised?
