[SOLVED] 'Status' in the Chicago 17th author-date bibliography is missing

edited September 11, 2022
The value of 'Status' in Extra is rendered correctly in the inline reference when using the bundled Chicago 17th author-date style but is not included in the bibliography.

It looks correct using Chicago full note and APA 7th. Looks like a bug to me.

Can a guru confirm this?
  • I can submit a PR if someone can confirm that this is a bug.
  • I'm seeing this correctly in both citation and reference list. With what item type are you testing? Anything particular?

    It is a journal article.

    Here is the data: https://i.imgur.com/WH0KkrI.png
And this is what gets rendered: https://i.imgur.com/0nHF5mD.png

By the way, how does one embed images in forum posts? I thought it was <img src="..."> but this renders a broken image icon only for me...
  • "Forthcoming" appears in the bibliography entry in your screenshot. What's incorrect?

    (The forum doesn't support images.)
  • Or sorry. So it does. Must be a case of selective blindness.

In the full note version, 'forthcoming' appears at the end of the reference after a comma and this is where I was expecting to see it.

But I see now that the position of the date is different in the author-date version.

    My fault...

(thanks for confirming it re the images)
