Thanks @adamsmith!
-
@adamsmith It is in the type field. In Chicago 16 it produces the correct format: Teresa Foster, “Felonious Women & Familial Bonds: Transportation to the Maryland Colony 1718-1739” (PhD, UMBC, 2018) In Chicago 17 Full Note with ibid it has: Ter…

Multi-volume books would be a great addition- at the moment I have 14 copies of William Waller Henings "Statutes at Large; Being a Collection of All the Laws of Virginia, From the first session of the Legislature in the year 1619" so that I can capt…

FWIW Adam - It may be an old thread, but I am STILL using Simons Build (which is why I have not reported crashing).
-
Thanks Adam. I hope my crash reports are helpful - I am happy to re-test as you go along (well as soon as this article is done!)
-
Can you tell me if there is a way to turn off updates? Everytime it auto updates it begins crashing again. I have a deadline and I'd rather use Simons build at least until I get these articles out the door.
-
How do I know which one I am running? I do have both 32 and 64 in my program files - when I go to system it says "System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor" (is that what you mean?)
-
I went back to the other build - have had no issues. Zotero updated today and began crashing AGAIN. Am sending through the crash logs (I think I found the right ones!) (And am also going back to Simons build)
-
@fbennett - Oh wow.... thank you. Will it integrate my current zotero database? As a historian I use a lot of non-legal sources too.
-
I will have a play and give you feedback.
-
No crash report generated here.
-
Hmm - That is a problem in the humanities then, as we are all generally still using 16A. Is there an option to select Chicago 16 instead? I don't know anyone who is using 17.
-
I have had crashes with even a single Word document open (and the Zotero app). Interestingly, after Word crashes, the insert window pops up for me to choose the citation from my database. When word re-starts I have the {citation} place holder, but…

I am having this same issue. Full title "Nancy Isenberg, White Trash: The 400-Year Untold History of Class in America" On subsequent footnotes it is appearing only as "Isenberg" (short title white trash does not appear) It is also editing out the…
-
I just want to let you know Adam, the newer builds were working briefly, but have gone back to crashing on every footnote insertion. I've gone back to Simons build. Edit: Zotero updated itself several times recently, so I am not sure if the build g…

I have downloaded Simons build - or is it your build you'd like me to try? Will report back either way.
-
Great Adam - will give it a shot.
-
I just want to reply on this - brand new document - constant crashing. I'm saving before I'm putting in footnotes now, but it is making zotero unusable which is devastating as I've been a huge fan until now.

*bump*

Any ideas?

From what I can tell, It should end up like this: Case Title (Italics), Docket number (Court Location, full date) aka Theft>Shoplifting (Italics), t16780116-9 (OldBailey, 16 January 1678)

Is this a functionality that will be added????
