Appears to be fixed. Thank you!!

I'm a little wary about trying betas so I will probably just wait until the new release. Do you know when that will be? Also, I think I should be able to purchase more storage now. Will that definitely fix my problem even though the issue wasn't wi…

Thanks. I am waiting for funding to come through so I can purchase more storage, but in the meantime I would appreciate you looking into it. I do get the error on my ipad that "You have reached your Zotero File Storage quota. Some files were not upl…

Hi, I've logged my debug ID which is D228675374. I think it logged the sync issue multiple times since I couldn't figure out how to get the debug ID at first.

OK, I have gone through all the steps and determined that #6 is required. It appears that the changes are appearing on the web, and not on the iPad. In that case should I do the debug output logging on the MacOS app, or the iPad app? Or both?

I have a question related to above but I have not done the extensive testing this user has. I recently tried the rtf scan process described here: https://www.zotero.org/support/rtf_scan Because a lot of my citations are to Chinese sources, I have …

Sorry @ZoeCMa, neglected to answer your question about usage. I guess because I normally type in English, I found it cumbersome to have to switch to a Chinese input method to search. Most of my Chinese sources are sorted into various folders already…

Thanks everyone for your input. It is not ideal I know, but I definitely want to retain the English interface, but now at least I know the sort order. Who knew I would be using my Kangxi dictionary again...!!

Sorry, what do you mean by "Chinese locale"?
-
Anyone have any insight? Since I started this thread, my library has tripled in size and Chinese references, so I'd really like to know the answer. (Unfortunately, it also has not magically come to me during the course of using Zotero...)

Like @kavana and others I would love the ability to custom re-name my highlight colors. Not an urgent request as I only use four different colors and I can remember what they mean, but it would be neat :)
-
Thanks, it was indeed a simple answer! Just trying to make sure I didn't accidentally lose any files.

You may be right -- I have the 8th edition and I just referenced it to get my point across. I see they've updated to 9th edition.

Hello, I found this old thread with the same problem I want to ask about. I am working with an anthology of which some essays are translated. When I enter the translator's name in Zotero's "translator" field, I want to say that it is the translator…

Thanks, I will make a backup today!
-
@adamsmith If I install that version, will it get rid of my current annotations or keep everything else as is?
-
I was recently looking this up and it doesn't look like there's a solution yet, per this thread.. https://github.com/jlegewie/zotfile/issues/376

Thanks, good to know about the Save to Zotero button as well! (Edit: And yes, I did mean dragging a file from my desktop into a collection.)

Yes, I wanted to update that I found out about rtf scan after making this post, sorry! I tested it myself and it seems that if I use TextEdit on Mac it works fine, whereas if I use Microsoft Word and save as rtf, that doesn't work. I tested a docume…
