The "Right to Left" option in the note editor context menu would've done that.

(I don't believe we support MIT Press Direct, but we will soon. mitpress.mit.edu URLs will work now, though.)
-
Thanks! Fixed. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.
-
First update to Zotero 7 and see if the problem still occurs. If it does, could you send the file to support@zotero.org along with a link to this thread?
-
Thanks, I can reproduce this. We'll fix. For now, if you want to save web links, open Zotero Settings, and enable "Automatically take snapshots when creating items from web pages" under General -> File Handling.
-
Yeah, actually, it is possible that this is Zotero itself checking for updates at the URL that a plugin provided. I'm not positive, but that may occasionally happen even if the plugin is disabled. You could try going into your Zotero profile direct…

A Zotero plugin you installed is connecting to that domain, probably to check for updates.
-
Thanks, we're working on a fix.

@magcanady: Fixed. Thanks for reporting this issue! Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.

It seems like there's currently an issue with saving from the PDF tab on ProQuest. We'll fix. As a workaround for now, click the "Abstract/Details" tab before saving. You should get a complete item with a PDF.

External tools should never modify Zotero's database directly. Zotero supports plugins and a read-write web API for use cases like this. There's no practical way to verify that the modifications that that program is making to your database won't lea…

Try restarting Chrome if you haven't already. If that doesn't fix it, remove and reinstall the Zotero Connector from the Chrome Web Store. Let me know if the problem still occurs after that.
-
Sorry, never mind, I missed the Report ID in the title.
-
We'll need a Connector Debug ID for a save attempt.
-
Yes, in Zotero settings -> General -> Open snapshots using.
-
Colored tags are still displayed before titles. The appearance of the color swatches changed slightly, but there shouldn’t any difference in the behavior of that feature. Do you have any plugins installed that could be interfering?
-
@rajesh_kalakoti: Fixed. Scopus should now be working. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.
-
I mean, Nature is a journal. But I guess there's an argument to be made that "Comment" pieces should be saved as magazine articles. @adamsmith, any opinion on this?
-
Do you see the same thing when you drag the file into the PDF.js demo in Firefox?
-
@rajesh_kalakoti: Thanks, we'll fix. @adamsmith: No problem, I can handle it.
-
Go to Zotero Settings -> General, click the "Open PDFs using" menu, and select the topmost option that says Zotero.
-
We need the URL of the page where you're getting an error. I’ve manually added the Scopus translator from the GitHub source by copy-pasting into the translators directory. Why? There's never any need to do that. The translators in the GitHub reposit…

Hmm, I can't reproduce this. Any connection to which collection you're in, whether the item you're attaching the file to already has other attachments, or whether it's expanded in the item tree? And do you see the same issue when you add a linked f…

It's considered good security practice for APIs to respond as if inaccessible items are nonexistent, so I don't think this will change.
-
@Schmetti: Same issue as above. We have a fix, and it'll be in the next Connector release.
-
That's a known Safari bug.
-
zotero://select/library/collections/ You can select the collection in the Web Library and copy the key from the URL, or select it in Zotero, go to Tools -> Run JavaScript, and run: ZoteroPane.getSelectedCollection().key

When you open Firefox from Zotero, or all the time?
-
It's possible that your default Firefox profile is broken. Try this: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/460563/#Comment_460563

Just to clarify - the version of Firefox that Zotero is based on doesn't have any bearing on UI features like tab splitting. Zotero and Firefox share close to zero UI code. I wouldn't recommend trying to guess upcoming changes to Zotero based on the…
