@johndeppe: Thanks, seems like they changed the layout slightly and it broke our date selector. I've pushed a fix. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Z…

We've added support for the new Library of Congress catalog. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.

We've just released support for the new catalog. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.

There's currently no way to exclude certain fields, no. You (or ChatGPT) could use Zotero's JavaScript API to batch-modify items after import. For example, for a journal article, it frequently puts "Publisher" in the Extra field. I don't want that t…

OK, glad to hear that fixed it!

Start by updating to Zotero 7, which fixes a number of issues with feed processing.
-
Open Zotero's settings, go to Advanced, uncheck "Enable bidirectional text editing utilities." (That setting is enabled automatically if you switch to a right-to-left locale.)
-
It would still be helpful if you could send in the MARC file that produced an error.
-
Or I could one single time... Is there a set of steps that can consistently make this happen on a new item?
-
I can reproduce this, thanks. We'll investigate.

(@duylinhdinh: But it would be helpful if you could email the EPUB to support@zotero.org and include a link to this thread, so we can use it as a test case.)
-
Thanks, we're aware of this and working on a fix.

Could you please email the EPUB to support@zotero.org and include a link to this thread?

This may have been a temporary issue with the site or your internet connection. If it continues to happen, though, could you provide a Connector Debug ID? (Different from a Report ID, which you provided above.)
-
Thanks!
-
Alt + Down Arrow will open the menu directly on all platforms.
-
Please don't open multiple threads for the same issue - this is the third, and we still don't have the information we need to help you. Please provide a Debug ID from the Connector, not the Zotero desktop app. See here for instructions.
-
Can you be more specific about what you're looking to do?
-
Thanks for letting us know. It seems like PhilPapers now restricts citation exports when you aren't logged in. I've added a workaround for some articles that include embedded BibTeX, and made it not offer to save other articles when you aren't logge…

@adamsmith, would you be able to try reproducing this through EZProxy? I've unfortunately had no luck, and I'm wondering if it could depend on the EZProxy configuration or some other institution-specific variable.

Thanks, fixed. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.

Attachment priority customization isn't yet available, but we try to avoid saving snapshots alongside full-text PDFs. I'm not sure why we're saving both on ScienceDirect. We'll change that.
-
Sorry, it isn't possible to revert to the previous layout in Zotero 7. But you can move, collapse, and pin sections if the default arrangement doesn't fit your workflow.
-
Yes, you can import multiple items from search pages when the Zotero Connector's toolbar button shows a folder icon. I don't know much about the Actions and Tags plugin (though you'd definitely want to use @hsiangyu_wong 's official https://github.…

The only way to do this would be to right-click each collection, choose Create Bibliography from Collection..., and paste the bibliography into your document. Do that once you're done writing, though — Zotero won't update the bibliographies when ci…

@rachel_ritchie_aero: Sorry for the inconvenience. I'd like to find a fix, but I haven't yet been able to reproduce the issue. Can you provide a Connector Debug ID for a save that results in an error?

https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/site_access_limits You might be triggering Google Scholar's rate limiting more often when connected through the proxy because other people on the network are using it at the same time as you. You should be able to…

Use the Zotero Connector to add items from EBSCO in your browser. Zotero has lots of built-in cleanup logic for metadata from publishers/databases like EBSCO, but you can only take advantage of it if you add items using the Connector's Save to Zoter…
