@yiwencao29: The Debug ID is enough, thanks. JSTOR requires you to accept their terms of service before downloading. Click the Download button on a JSTOR article page and accept the terms. Future Zotero saves will work automatically after that.
-
Yes, both of those are already supported. Change the theme or add a custom theme under the Appearance popup (“Aa” toolbar button). Change the font in Zotero settings -> General -> Reader -> Ebook Font.
-
Yes to .txt (and other plain-text file formats like CSV).
-
@nhan000: Will be fixed in the next beta.
-
Thanks, I'm able to reproduce this on Windows.
-
Can you reproduce this with all plugins disabled (Help -> Restart in Troubleshooting Mode...)?
-
@patrickgao: Fixed. Your Zotero translators should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.
-
Ah, OK, thanks. And yes, an update function is planned.
-
We need an exact URL.

Is it best to use the app or the web browser version ? The desktop app. Could you be more specific about what you're seeing change overnight? Do you mean that it just seems like the number of items in the collection is changing? Or are you missing …

(Each supported site or type of site has its own "translator" script, and what you're seeing is an issue with one specific script, which is why we always need a URL to diagnose issues like this. There is no general issue with the Connector that woul…

What URL were you viewing when you clicked Save to Zotero?
-
Thanks, we'll look into supporting horizontal scrolling to turn the page as well.

Can you reproduce this with all plugins disabled? (Help -> Restart in Troubleshooting Mode...)

I understand that. It's difficult to balance allowing ebooks to make reasonable formatting decisions against preventing them from making unreasonable ones. We'll try to improve our approach in the future.
-
@DonnaCoxBaker: National Archives fixed now as well.
-
Fixed. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings. I can also reproduce the National Archives issue - will fix.
-
Sorry, you're right. That fixed it in my testing, but I'm not sure why! Exit Zotero, open the file called prefs.js in your profile directory with a text editor, and delete the line containing extensions.zotero.pane.persist.

Recent betas include a lower-contrast dark mode and support for custom themes. Those features will be available in an upcoming release.
-
[Removed bad info.] Just making the window a bit taller should bring the menu bar back and give you enough room to grab the splitter and make the pane smaller again. We'll prevent this from happening in the future - thanks!
-
You can save one search with a single "Collection" = "- epitaxy" condition and "Include parent and child items" checked, then create a second search with a "Collection" = the first search, "Attachment File Type" = PDF, and "Include parent and child …

Thanks! We added a heuristic to disable theming on pages with a lot of style code, but it was a little overly conservative. Fixed in the next beta.
-
Thanks, this will be fixed in the next beta/release. (For what it's worth, though, that EPUB is very broken. I imagine it's a hard book to translate into ebook form, but I would recommend looking for a different edition if one is available.)
-
Click the Appearance ("Aa" icon) toolbar button and check "Use original font". (Or select your own favorite font in Zotero settings -> General -> Reader -> Ebook font.) The color issue is harder - ebooks usually can't be trusted to set the…

Can you provide a Connector Debug ID for that?
-
Each input box has a maximum width, and when it exceeds that width, its text is ellipsized: overflowing characters are chopped off and "…," is added to the last name, "…" to the first name. In many cases, though, there isn't a perfect fit: If the te…

@DonnaCoxBaker: Can you post some Amazon/B&N URLs that are failing for you? Or better, Connector Debug IDs for the save attempts.
-
@AlexJJJ: Thanks for sending the snapshot in. This has already been fixed in the current beta and will be fixed in the next release.
-
(As far as I know, Web of Science doesn't host any PDFs on its own, so when you do get a PDF, it's because Zotero looked up the DOI and found one. It could be that Zotero just can't find anything for the item you're trying to save.)
-
@alex_pereira: Please let me know which of the specific results on that page no longer gives you a PDF.
