@rajesh_kalakoti: Thanks, we'll fix. @adamsmith: No problem, I can handle it.
-
Go to Zotero Settings -> General, click the "Open PDFs using" menu, and select the topmost option that says Zotero.
-
We need the URL of the page where you're getting an error. I’ve manually added the Scopus translator from the GitHub source by copy-pasting into the translators directory. Why? There's never any need to do that. The translators in the GitHub reposit…

Hmm, I can't reproduce this. Any connection to which collection you're in, whether the item you're attaching the file to already has other attachments, or whether it's expanded in the item tree? And do you see the same issue when you add a linked f…

It's considered good security practice for APIs to respond as if inaccessible items are nonexistent, so I don't think this will change.
-
@Schmetti: Same issue as above. We have a fix, and it'll be in the next Connector release.
-
That's a known Safari bug.
-
zotero://select/library/collections/ You can select the collection in the Web Library and copy the key from the URL, or select it in Zotero, go to Tools -> Run JavaScript, and run: ZoteroPane.getSelectedCollection().key

When you open Firefox from Zotero, or all the time?
-
It's possible that your default Firefox profile is broken. Try this: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/460563/#Comment_460563
-
Just to clarify - the version of Firefox that Zotero is based on doesn't have any bearing on UI features like tab splitting. Zotero and Firefox share close to zero UI code. I wouldn't recommend trying to guess upcoming changes to Zotero based on the…

Thanks, I think I know what's going on here. Opened an issue; we'll update this thread once it's fixed.
-
Fixed. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.
-
@mmctoyahoo: Will be fixed in the next beta/release.
-
This is a general issue with WorldCat ISBN resolution on your machine (and probably others). WorldCat is blocking Zotero's requests, and our existing workarounds for that situation don't seem to be working. This will affect adding other books by ISB…

@ChaplainTom: Pushed an update. Your Zotero translators should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings. Let me know if you continue to have issues.
-
(Please provide the exact URL of the page you're saving in the future! It's very helpful to allow us to reproduce the issue.)
-
Thanks, I can reproduce this in Safari. We'll look into it. You should be able to use a different browser to save APS snapshots for now.
-
Could you try again after updating Zotero to the latest stable release (7.0.19)?
-
We can look into enabling Undo for field-not-selected Pastes. I can reproduce the issue with the Last Name field. A bit bizarre - there isn't really anything special about that field! We'll look into it.
-
I'm assuming you meant 9781914568046 for the first one. 9781914548046 isn't a valid ISBN (the last digit is a check digit, and it doesn't validate). In any case, yeah, that book doesn't seem to be in any of the ISBN catalogs that Zotero checks. Ther…

@Schmitz99Jan: Pushed a fix. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.

The text in the PDF is corrupted. You may be able to fix it by removing the text layer and OCRing the text using something like Adobe Acrobat.
-
See https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues. If updating your Zotero Connector doesn't fix it, follow the rest of the troubleshooting steps and provide a Connector Debug ID (#14) for trying to save that page.
-
On macOS, you can adjust the text size via the "Scaling" option in the print dialog, but that doesn't seem to be available on Windows/Linux. We could add standard zoom options to the View menu in that window.
-
@malszycki: Please provide an example URL.
-
Intentional, yes, but not ideal, and the DOI field will be available on all item types soon.
-
Thanks, this will be fixed in the next beta.
-
Thanks, it looks like we should be able to get better information for books in that catalog (and others powered by the same software). We'll work on that.
-
That one seems to be working for me, so hopefully for you too. (It would've been all JPEG images.)
