Please provide an example URL.

It's just a 400 MB PDF (somehow) and a slow server.
-
@venpopov: Thanks, we'll fix.
-
We have a fix for this, and it'll be included in an upcoming beta.
-
The citation data that AMS provides us doesn't include journal abbreviations. By default, though, Zotero automatically abbreviates journal titles and doesn't use the value in the Journal Abbreviation field.

We've released a translator for ChatGPT. Note that you can save any conversation, even a private one, but you'll need to share the conversation first (with the button in the top-right corner of the ChatGPT page) to get a URL in your bibliography. T…

I'm not positive what's causing this specific case, but things like this can sometimes happen when a page UI element renders incorrectly without JavaScript. We plan to add an "element zapper" function to deal with these issues. For now, you can rig…

The Duplicate Items collection shows duplicates in your library. If you don't see it, right-click My Library and choose Show Duplicates.
-
You could also save it as HTML (File → Save, or Cmd/Ctrl-S), then open the HTML file in your browser. But I don't believe there's currently any way to zoom in Zotero's own report viewer, no.
-
@alexandrutarau, @vuorre, @jnajjar: This should be fixed in Zotero Connector 5.0.186, out for the last couple days.
-
Please provide a Connector Debug ID for a save that you're seeing this issue on.
-
@jacob-walker: I'm sorry. As I said initially, I really appreciate the work you put into the two translators. If you want to use them locally, you can and should. But they were not remotely reviewable, let alone maintainable. At 2,863 lines before t…

Thanks! Pushed a fix. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.

Can you locate one of the corrupted entries in your library, then find it in the merged RIS file (Ctrl-F, paste in the title)? What does it look like in the RIS?
-
When you copy that text, switch to Zotero, and run File → Import from Clipboard, do the items it creates have corrupted titles/metadata? If not, it's most likely other entries in the file that are corrupted.
-
that imports the citations all messed up, mostly with the RIS filename in the title field, with all the other fields being empty. Could you open one of the merged RIS files with this issue in a text editor, copy part of the content, and paste it her…

Can you give an example of a feed URL that doesn’t work?
-
@hzmaomao030, @HansZhe: We always need an example URL for translator problems.
-
@Breath, Aline: PubMed feeds appear to be returning 500 Internal Server Error. There's nothing we can do about that; they'll need to fix the feature on their end. (The linked feed is a proxy URL, though, so it likely wouldn't work in Zotero even if…

This is something that Windows is doing (they're "8.3 filenames") because it thinks Zotero can't support long paths, or because it thinks your drive/network share (wherever those files were located) can't support long paths. Check to make sure zote…

Could you provide a Connector Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for the save?
-
@sidhalder900: Could you provide a Connector Debug ID for an attempted save?
-
The publisher appears to have reused the ISBN. Either that or K10plus entered the wrong ISBN for the Balzac book by mistake. You could try contacting them.
-
Note that Google Scholar has strict site access limits, and it may just be that. Try again later and see if it works.
-
Could you provide an example URL?
-
Yes, but note that it currently *won't* filter them down. For the case you described, saving all of them seems fine. Users can delete the ones they don't want. But if, for example, a book archive provided a very large EPUB and a very large PDF for …

- PDF or EPUB? - What language / script? - How many pages?

@wdenton: Set Advanced Search to "Match all of the following" mode and add two conditions: 1. Title | contains | Thing 2. Title | does not contain | Things You could express the same thing as a regex, but it wouldn't be pretty.

We just don't currently have specific support for that site, so Zotero falls back to extracting a DOI from the page (10.1145/3762991), but that DOI appears not to be registered with any DOI agency, which causes the error. We can look into adding su…

Fixed the issue. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings. Thanks for letting us know! And in order to get a Report ID reviewed, you just hav…
