Could you provide a Debug ID for reproducing this?
-
@EdoardoPona: Thanks, fixed. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.

Thanks, looks like there were some changes on the site's end. We'll fix this.

This is just covering the webpage snapshot's content, not blocking access to all of Zotero. She can click on the first tab at the top to get back to her library. If the snapshot isn't useful, it's safe to delete it. Could you ask if she remembers w…

This is planned.

No, Zotero doesn't currently support bulk editing. The best way to add multiple book sections with accurate metadata is usually to use the Zotero Connector's Save to Zotero button on the publisher's website. Where are you downloading the chapter PDF…

Great!

Any search with a term under three characters (like "7") currently returns no results.

Open the Connector Preferences again, go to Advanced, and click Reset Translators. Then go back to Europe PMC, reload, and try to save. Does it work? If not, what tooltip do you see when you hover over the Save to Zotero button?

Attachment content is indexed by individual words, so searching for a sequence of words requires a much slower unindexed search. You can make it faster by adding more filters (e.g. Item Type is Journal Article).

We could say more if you give an example where you see this issue.

I believe making tags case-insensitive is planned (we have an issue filed for it). For now, in the tag selector at the bottom-left, you can right-click the tag with the casing you don't want and rename it to the casing that you prefer. The two tags …

We'll look into it. (When saving via the Connector, the download happens in your browser, so it's a slightly different mechanism.)

Please provide an example URL.

It's just a 400 MB PDF (somehow) and a slow server.
-
@venpopov: Thanks, we'll fix.

We have a fix for this, and it'll be included in an upcoming beta.
-
The citation data that AMS provides us doesn't include journal abbreviations. By default, though, Zotero automatically abbreviates journal titles and doesn't use the value in the Journal Abbreviation field.

We've released a translator for ChatGPT. Note that you can save any conversation, even a private one, but you'll need to share the conversation first (with the button in the top-right corner of the ChatGPT page) to get a URL in your bibliography. T…

I'm not positive what's causing this specific case, but things like this can sometimes happen when a page UI element renders incorrectly without JavaScript. We plan to add an "element zapper" function to deal with these issues. For now, you can rig…

The Duplicate Items collection shows duplicates in your library. If you don't see it, right-click My Library and choose Show Duplicates.
-
You could also save it as HTML (File → Save, or Cmd/Ctrl-S), then open the HTML file in your browser. But I don't believe there's currently any way to zoom in Zotero's own report viewer, no.
-
@alexandrutarau, @vuorre, @jnajjar: This should be fixed in Zotero Connector 5.0.186, out for the last couple days.
-
Please provide a Connector Debug ID for a save that you're seeing this issue on.

@jacob-walker: I'm sorry. As I said initially, I really appreciate the work you put into the two translators. If you want to use them locally, you can and should. But they were not remotely reviewable, let alone maintainable. At 2,863 lines before t…

Thanks! Pushed a fix. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.

Can you locate one of the corrupted entries in your library, then find it in the merged RIS file (Ctrl-F, paste in the title)? What does it look like in the RIS?
-
When you copy that text, switch to Zotero, and run File → Import from Clipboard, do the items it creates have corrupted titles/metadata? If not, it's most likely other entries in the file that are corrupted.
