Will be fixed, thanks.

@mjthoraval: The next beta will correctly reposition annotations when the container they're in is scrolled. We'll keep working on improving support for scrolling containers in EPUBs/snapshots.
-
Open the Zotero Connector preferences and click Reset Translators, then reload the WorldCat page and try saving again. If it's still not working, we'll need a Debug ID for the full process: enable debug logging, then reload the WorldCat page and tr…

@scruel: I'm sorry, we can't reasonably optimize for that EPUB. It's over 1000 pages, 17,000 top-level elements, in a single document with no section splits. That's not how the EPUB format is designed to work. Calibre struggles on it as well.
-
Lots of discussion about this issue here. Basically, there is a standard format for EPUB annotations, and we use it to store annotations internally, but no other EPUB reader is able to import it (AFAIK). Most EPUB readers can't import external anno…
-
@scruel: Have you had this happen recently? Freezing issues in the EPUB reader should generally be fixed now.
-
Thanks, that's a good point. We'll see what we can do.
-
That URL is working for me. Can you submit a Debug ID for an attempt to add the feed?
-
@odko, @Dong.Huang: What page URL are you saving from, and what happens when you click the Save to Zotero button?
-
Yes, attachment priority customization is in the works.
-
@baileichao: Thanks for sending the EPUB. These issues should be fixed in the next beta/release.
-
Thanks, fixed. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update manually by clicking Update Translators in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector preferences.
-
Not currently, but that's planned.
-
@foxal, @tksze: The next beta will have significantly improved support for books with vertical text in both modes (Paginated and Scrolled).
-
May have been Ctrl-Shift-X - try pressing that key combination in the editor again?
-
Vertical EPUBs should work in Scrolled mode (View -> Scrolled). Last I looked into this, supporting vertical text in Paginated mode wasn’t possible due to layout engine limitations. Please do send those EPUBs in and we’ll see what we can do.
-
@yksasa71: I tried using the Zotero Connector, but it doesn’t reflect the information accurately. Please be specific about which fields are getting incorrect values. We should be able to fix that.
-
Zotero supports loading password-protected PDFs, which you can create with Acrobat Online, desktop Acrobat, Apple Preview, and other tools.
-
Check the "Include parent and child items of matching items" checkbox.
-
This is planned.
-
It's not clear what you mean by "catalog" and "directory." Feel free to write in your native language if that's easier. If you're saying that the sections ("Info", "Abstract") in the item pane are all collapsed, right-click any of the headers and c…

@kate.nyhan: Fixed, as well as Portuguese abstracts ending up on English items. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update manually by clicking Update Translators in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector pre…

Thanks, I can reproduce this issue. (In the future, when reporting issues that involve saving items from the web, please include the exact URL you saved from!) We'll see what we can do.

That template doesn’t look right for EPUBs (or items in group libraries - there’s just no reason you should have to construct these links manually at all, so I’m guessing there’s a better way). But you’re going to need to talk to the Obsidian plugin…
-
One of your plugins is causing this (probably the one that added the two buttons at the top).
-
@jthistl3: Please email the EPUB file to support@zotero.org and include a link to this thread.
-
I would recommend talking to your library's IT department to see if they can remove arXiv from the proxy list. It looks like the proxy is responding incorrectly when Zotero requests data from export.arxiv.org.
-
@zaisai: The original issue reported in this thread was fixed before the official release of Zotero 7. This looks to be different. What type of annotation are you trying to link to? Highlight, underline, note? What text editor are you using? What step…
-
Exactly what pointing device are you using? If it's a trackpad or Magic Mouse, are you tapping (no haptic feedback) or clicking (haptic feedback)? If you Control-left-click on the items, does the same thing happen? Thanks, and sorry for the inconve…

Save a copy of your document, open the copy, unlink citations. You won't be able to update your citations after unlinking them, so make sure you don't unlink on the original document.
