I haven't been able to reproduce this. Currently, for me, it deselects if I'm sorting by Date Modified and selects the next item if I'm sorting by Title.

Yeah, this is indeed unexpected behavior. We'll improve how we set attachment titles when multiple attachments are added at once.

Zotero currently doesn't update the titles of tabs that have been unloaded to save resources. We should be able to address that in a future version.

Somewhere upward? For me, it moves to the next note/attachment on the item, and if there are none left, it moves to the parent item. That seems like reasonable behavior.
