Can you reproduce this with all plugins disabled? (Help -> Restart in Troubleshooting Mode...)
-
https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues We need an exact URL and a Connector Debug ID for a save attempt.
-
"Show in Finder" shows when you right-click the parent item, not only its PDF attachment. But there's currently no way to access "Show in Finder" directly from the reader. What are you doing with the file once you locate it in the Finder? There may…

Have you moved Zotero between monitors? And do you have the PDF open in a Zotero tab, or in a separate window?
-
Zotero already automatically unloads tabs when they aren't being used. A maximum of five tabs will be loaded at any given time (three on systems with

https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues If this is only on one site, we'll need the exact URL of the page and a Debug ID from the Connector (last item in the list I linked) for an attempt at saving.

You mean access annotations that you've created on a Zotero snapshot in the reader? That isn't yet possible (but will be soon) via the local API. The web API already supports it. Add /children to an attachment item request. (API-related questions a…

@benja.delgado: If mean that you're viewing a snapshot in the Zotero reader and want to use a two-page layout, open the View menu (or right-click somewhere on the page) and choose Split Horizontally or Split Vertically.

HTTP POST https://[...].ovid.com/ovid-new-a/ovidweb.cgi failed with status code 502 502 (Bad Gateway) means there's a problem on Ovid's end, or with a proxy/VPN you're using.

Please post a Connector Debug ID.
-
Ah, thanks, I missed that you were viewing a full page and not an individual article. I've added support for saving from that view. As long as there's a clipping for the article you're interested in, you should be able to add it; if there isn't, mak…

It doesn't look like the Newspapers.com translator is running at all. Open the Zotero Connector preferences, Advanced -> Reset Translators.
-
You should be able to swipe from the left/right sides of the screen to turn the page.
-
@qenghis: Thanks, I can reproduce that issue. We'll look into it. For now, click the "Abstract/Details" tab in the left sidebar before saving to Zotero, or use a different browser for ProQuest.
-
Please don't download Zotero from sketchy third-party sites! There's absolutely no need to do that. Old versions are still available directly from zotero.org by modifying the download URL. macOS: https://www.zotero.org/download/client/dl?channel=re…

Thanks, fixed. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update manually by clicking Update Translators in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector preferences.
-
Yes, you can paste a list of authors like this: Robinson Ira E. Bailey Wilfrid C. Authors should be separated by line breaks, and each author's last and first name should be separated by a single tab ( ).
-
Please post the information requested under If none of these solutions solve your problem on this page.

There's a LinkedIn translator in the works, and it could probably support these (if it doesn't already).

(removed outdated info)

Not totally sure what you mean.

In the library, you can search by annotation comments in "Everything" mode. Attachments with annotations matching the search term will appear in the results. In the reader itself, click the Search icon above the list of annotations to search within…

No need to edit Note HTML. You can add a new translator and set "configOptions" to { "noteTranslator": true } (see this line).
-
Thanks! Fixed. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update manually by clicking Update Translators in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector preferences.

@aaronbcowan: Fixed. Thanks for reporting. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within a few minutes, or you can update manually by clicking Update Translators in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector preferences.

Right, good point. It is grabbing OA PDFs for those articles now, but it wasn't when I tested (and evidently earlier in the morning). Probably just a brief outage.
-
Thanks, I can reproduce.

You may be thinking of PubMed Central, which hosts full-text PDFs. PubMed doesn't - the "Full Text Links" go to publisher catalog pages, which then contain PDF links. Zotero has never supported downloading those automatically, but we can look into a…

Thanks - this is a known issue.
