Is this planned? Thanks :)

Oh right, I forgot to add this: I've tried annotating with the app on the Boox device. However, currently the functionality/compatibility with the pen isn't great yet. Always having to select the pen tool in Zotero, and then switching to the eraser …

Any updates on this? I can't get the Linter to work either.

This is not at all easier, but if you or anyone is up for some mostly ChatGPT built scripting, you can try what I've been working on if you're on Linux or know what you're doing: xdotool key ctrl+c citation="$(xsel -o -b | sed 's/\\>/>/g' |…

Hi, I'm on 7.0.3 and this is also happening for me. Not sure which next version you meant? Thanks!!
-
Awesome, thanks :)
-
Yes, actually! Even if my mouse pointer just passes it for a very brief moment, that's where it freezes.
-
Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that device. Thanks anyways!

Hm, I wonder if Linux Mint has something like that. I'll have to check. Anyways, thanks for the advice!!
-
Cool, that's good to know. But is there maybe a shortcut to doing that?

Sorry for the delay. The crash would just be the program closing with no error or anything. And I've just finished my thesis so I've not been getting any more crashes but if I do I'll try and capture it in debug mode. Also it might have to do with t…

Hi again, I haven't had the chance to test whether compressing the PDF would work, but I just had a crash when opening a PDF with 7.9 MB. In fact I've been having a looot of crashes in the last few days. Some, if not most, crashes are likely because…

all right, thanks! I'll try and see if I find something I can do about that.

It has about 606 MB, and a lot of annotations, maybe a hundred or two? It's the main book of my thesis. I'm guessing that the file size plus annotation are the issue, but is there any way to alleviate this?
-
After a reboot of the PC I could open that PDF and use it for a while, but it just crashed again when I tried going back to it.
-
Now it's also crashing with other documents... Though this time it lagged out the computer for upwards of two minutes before actually crashing/closing. I'm getting an error message now though: A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stop…

Cool, thanks! Any update on that since January?
-
Apologies, did not understand that. Thanks for explaining!
-
Ok, thank you.

No, sorry, I mean the icons of the windows in the task bar. Like in this image (not mine): https://androidcommunity.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Taskbar-app-2.jpg The icons at the bottom of the screen.

Thanks. I apologize for the way I uploaded the PDF I didn't know of a better way at the time. Thanks for the help though!!
-
Thanks, I'm able to compare the two in word (see PDF), though I'm not sure what those differences do. Sorry, if I didn't phrase that clearly :)
-
Yup, figured it out. Had to mount (and then set up auto-mount) the drive :) Thanks for your help :)
-
Thanks, I just figured it out! I followed this tutorial (https://askubuntu.com/questions/46588/how-to-automount-ntfs-partitions) on how to auto-mount the drive, after having giving that partition root access. Now it works automatically when I boot u…

Now I just got this error message when trying to start my library in Linux: > [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80520013 (NS_ERROR_FILE_READ_ONLY) [nsIFile.create]" nsresult: "0x80520013 (NS_ERROR_FILE_READ_ONLY)" location: "JS…

Ok, well now I know what to look for. Thanks :)
-
Ok, well, I did it NTFS because a tutorial (https://helpdeskgeek.com/how-to/how-to-create-a-shared-storage-drive-for-dual-boot-systems/) I was following said to do that. Is there a better format? Otherwise, how would I get the permission for that…

Yes, dual-boot. Thank you!!

> we strongly recommend against it. would this be solved by a shared partition? I'm really new to Linux and still figuring stuff out. Thanks!
