It could be disabled through the configuration dialog... most pop up facilities e.g. windows start bar, have options to disable pop up.

Engineering Village Searches Inspec and Compendex. MUCH better than IEEExplore, at least for electrical engineers. Better than current version of google scholar. http://www.engineeringvillage2.org

What I do is take a snapshot of the file and move it under the named link. So it becomes part of the library and not an attachment. I could not find a way to edit the name of a file that's part of the library.
