This is available now in Zotero 9.

(Recently Read is available in Zotero 9, available now.)

Start by updating to Zotero 9 (which was just released) via Help → Check for Updates. If that doesn't help, can you provide a screenshot (either here or in an email to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread) that shows the problem?
-
It’s caused by a plugin.
-
You should make sure you've confirmed that that's the active Word Startup folder. Word loads and enables templates from there by default, so if that's not working, either you've changed the folder or there's some other problem in your local Word ins…

"Appdata/Roaming/MicrosoftWord" isn't any path we refer to. You should be specific about where the Zotero.dotm file is installed and provide some screenshot from Word that show your configuration.
-
OK, be sure to say in your thread title when you're referring to the mobile apps. I've updated the title.
-
You need to say what software you're actually referring to (the iOS app? the Android app?) and what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. Both the iOS and Android apps support the same two highlighting modes as the desktop: a latched mode…
-
But that doesn't show you attempting to open a file.

Are we now discussing another issue? Your post was about data syncing to Android. You now seem to be talking about file syncing to the desktop app? If so, see Files Not Syncing for what we need: If you've performed all these steps, you've confirmed…
-
I think this is about searching within the reader?
-
@llity: Can you also run these commands and let us know the output? PRAGMA auto_vacuum; SELECT COUNT(*) FROM items; SELECT COUNT(*) FROM itemDataValues WHERE valueID NOT IN (SELECT valueID FROM itemData);
-
Reinstall Zotero from the download page. Your data won't be affected. (You're still on an old version of Zotero. There was a problem with the updater in 7.0.16 that should've been fixed for most users automatically, but depending on your system con…

This is the item you see if you paste BAKX8T39 into the search bar in the desktop app? That looks like the item synced. But I'm confused by your description: Force-closed and reopened the Android app — item still doesn't appear The item is in My L…

That wouldn't have been the debug output for the first sync after a change. Make sure you're starting debug output logging on Android before making a change elsewhere.
-
Something is very wrong with your DB if you're seeing those numbers. The problem with Zotero is that when an entry is deleted or modified, the old value is not cleared from this table, resulting in orphan rows constantly piling up. No, this is false…

Should be fixed in the latest beta
-
You have to set up data syncing before you can configure file syncing.
-
Can you provide a screenshot that shows what you're referring to?

https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/storage_quota_and_local_storage You've been at your storage quota for years. You likely just hadn't noticed the warning icon. (You were at 2 GB of files in the online library five years ago.)

Looking into this
-
Why the context menu? Do you have the save button in the toolbar? https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/no_toolbar_button
-
All we can tell you is that Zotero is getting an access-denied error. That's not a problem in Zotero itself.
-
@warguelles: Not seeing any problems here. Make sure you have the latest beta on all machines. If you can reproduce this, provide a Debug ID for opening a file and syncing on one computer and for the first sync after that on the other.
-
The app itself follows the system setting, like most apps. For the reader specifically, you can change the appearance of documents from the gear icon in the top right.

You'll need to say more. You have data in your online library under this account, and you can see it by clicking Web Library at the top of this page. If that's what you're looking for, you just need to sync on the new computer. If not, the data woul…

[JavaScript Error: "NotAllowedError: Could not remove `C:\Users\[…]\Zotero\storage\ZRWMQI8L' (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED)"] Something on your computer — file permissions or security software — is preventing Zotero from writing to its data directory.

Unless you've completely emptied the document and can still reproduce the problem, you haven't followed the last step completely. You also haven't sent us a sample excerpt that reproduces the problem or provided a Report ID. https://www.zotero.org/…
