You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.

Yes, you can install one or both. If necessary, you can just reinstall from the download page. Your data won't be affected.

Please check the latest beta (or 9.0.2).

This is fixed in Zotero 9.0.2, available now via Help → "Check for Updates…".

Can you link to an example PDF and/or send one to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
By the way, is it possible to revoke the previous reviewer's privileges? Yes, already did this.
-
Well, the reader already syncs page position, so you'll be on the same page whether or not you use Read Aloud. And you can of course just click the Read Aloud button once and then stop it immediately once you see where it was.

BibTeX is just a data export format. It doesn't have anything to do with localization (or CSL). "and" between authors is a literal part of the BibTeX spec. If you want something localized, it would be in whatever tool you're using to parse and gener…

You should never modify the database directly in any way.
-
@dsquared: It will automatically start reading from where you last were, unless you've manually switched to a different page since then.

The eye button comes from the underlying Firefox platform on all password fields. We could look into trying to hide that after successful sync setup, but having it there is really more honest — you should generally assume that someone with access to…

The account you're posting from is empty and has never synced, so it's not clear what account you're referring to. When you switched sync accounts, Zotero warned you that it would delete all local data for the old account, required you to check a c…

It seems like you've resolved this.

This is planned.
-
@hpflugs: That's exactly what's answered above.

Sorry about that. Fixed for the next beta.

This is a regression that will be fixed in the next beta. General discussion about the feature should happen elsewhere.

"Data directory:" was just an unlocalized string. That's now available as key:preferences-advanced-data-dir ("Data Directory:") in zotero.json on Transifex. The other strings are just not translated in the Japanese locale. @coolvitto, I don't think…

Fixed — this was indeed a hard-coded string. Now available as key:preferences-advanced-data-dir in zotero.json on Transifex.

Something happened to your filesystem permissions (did you transfer applications from another Mac?), but you can just delete Zotero from Applications and reinstall from the download page. Your data won't be affected. (This isn't any sort of issue i…

How many items are you trying to export? Can you restart Zotero and provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for an export attempt that hangs (after a minute or two)?
-
Is this a bug or due to the privacy-preserving way you all have implemented Retraction Watch? Neither. Retracted item notifications just aren't currently available in the web library: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/web_vs_desktop We can look in…

@JAunger: Zotero 9 uses 20% less memory at startup. Beyond that, you'd have to be more specific.

This should be fixed in the latest Zotero beta.
