Zotero 9.0.4 (64-bit), Word 2019, Windows.
This afternoon Zotero was working normally. A few hours later, I started getting the error "Zotero experienced an error updating your document" whenever I try to insert a citation.
What I tested:
* The issue occurs even in a brand-new Word document.
* The Word plugin is installed and visible (Zotero.dotm).
* Reinstalling the Word plugin did not help.
* Document Preferences opens normally.
* Add/Edit Citation fails immediately after selecting the citation style.
* Add/Edit Bibliography also fails.
* Troubleshooting Mode did not help.
* My Zotero library is intact and syncing normally.
