Can you provide one or two screenshots that show the problem?

On macOS you can drag onto the Dock icon. Dragging to a shortcut or the taskbar icon on Windows doesn't seem to do the same for some reason. We'll see if we can fix that. But on any platform, if the file type is associated with Zotero (as it should…

Just to let you know, we've since had another report of Litmaps deleting someone's data. We've blocked Litmaps's access for now and will try to reach out to them.
-
Yes, it does look like Litmaps did this, and this is actually the second instance of this we've seen. (That one was slightly less clear, but this pretty well confirms it.) We're going to block all Litmaps access for now and try to get in touch with …

Sorry, I missed that you were using Catalina. There was indeed a change that would've caused the extension not to load on old macOS versions. This should be fixed now in beta 102. Thanks for letting us know.

0 just means that the connection itself is failing or being interrupted.

@maitiah: Please don't use all-caps when posting here. See the above link for the known causes of this in Google Docs. But what do you mean by "it won't even let me add a new citation"? What exactly happens?

But if this really started after your computer crashed, you might want to try the DB Repair Tool to see if that finds any errors in your database. If you tell us the Upload ID, we can also run some tests on your database to see what's going on. Ano…

You may still be able to use Cmd-` (backtick, above Tab) to switch to the debug output window and submit it, but if not, see Logging to a Terminal Window, including the part about saving the log file to your desktop.

You'd have to provide a screenshot — I still don't know what you mean by "right click on an item". But getting the toolbar button to appear should be as simple as pinning it from the Extensions popup, as explained on the linked page.
-
You don't need to do anything special. You can safely switch back and forth between Zotero 6 and 7. You should always have a backup of your Zotero data, as with any important data. https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#backing_up_your_zotero_…

The problem is that even though the titles are named correctly, the filenames end up failing Can you explain what you mean by this? Re: {{ attachmentTitle }}, the problem is that there needs to be some way to do this only for certain attachments, s…

OK, thanks. We'll look into it.

It looks like this was fixed: https://github.com/MuiseDestiny/zotero-style/issues/1043

Did you check the latest behavior there? The tool-switching behavior was changed — along with this bug fix — in the latest version.

You still have over 100 MB of files in your library, but a lot of items in your library were deleted yesterday, along with four collections. That would've had to have been something done by you or someone with access to your library (e.g., on a shar…

Hold down Shift (Windows) or Option (Mac) to launch Zotero in Troubleshooting Mode with all plugins disabled. Does it still happen? If so, can you provide a screenshot that shows what you're seeing?
-
That would be a problem with your network connection.
-
@r52brown: It's not totally clear if you're referring to data or files here, but the problem would've been on the computer you were using before. Generally, if syncing was failing for some reason, there would be an error icon in the toolbar after ev…

(You should get it from https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39009824/ if you have automatic tag saving enabled.)

Now it seems that even if the user hasn't manually edited the attachment title, Rename File from Parent Metadata only changes the filename; it no longer makes changes to the attachment title under any circumstances, as far as I can tell. That's cor…

@DWL-SDCA: It's from the "24/7 Dad®" tag. Zotero 7 now shows emoji from tags in the items list without needing them to be assigned colors, and the "®" is apparently in a character class that we're extracting. We'll see if we can fix this.

You're getting an HTTP 403 Forbidden error from your WebDAV server. That's all we can tell you. You'd have to ask them for help.

We'll need to look at the database. If you can't upload it to the DB Repair Tool, you can upload it somewhere else and send a link to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.

There's no great option there — either the item you have selected disappears from the search while you're potentially still editing it or the search is cleared and you can keep editing the item that you just searched for. The former might be useful …

Then you need to provide the Debug ID the linked page explains how to produce.
-
Can you provide examples, here or to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
Disable all plugins and see if you can still reproduce it. If so, can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing this, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
