(1) I had earlier copied/pasted a reference (Homans 2024) that appeared to paste just fine, i.e., it appeared in standard shaded Z format in my GDoc. "Earlier" as in a few minutes/hours earlier, or potentially with the previous version of the plugin…

Online storage will always be less than your local storage, since files are compressed when they're uploaded. If you're not seeing the same items, see Changes Not Syncing.

We'd want to see an actual Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for reloading the page and trying to save, but on Google Scholar it's most likely just site access limits.
-
Sure — individual PDFs and EPUBs can easily be less than 2 MB. Unless you're using some plugin that creates linked files, any files you add to Zotero are stored in the 'storage' folder. No need for it to be a mystery, though — just do a search of …

Sorry, we can't help with Jurism here, and it's currently unmaintained.

1) If you were still experiencing the error, you certainly could've provided a Report ID, and there's no way we can help you if you don't provide one. 2) The whole point of the last step is that you can cut even a very large document down to identi…

Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option? Or if you're not able to generate the output that way, see Reporting Startup Errors to generate a Debug ID.
-
1) Can you provide a Report ID after reproducing this? 2) As we told you via email, you'll need to follow the Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents steps linked from that dialog. Again, unless you can reproduce the problem in a new, em…

That's a built-in feature, but it's not yet available on iOS.

If you select the note and run this from Tools → Developer → Run JavaScript, what's the result? ZoteroPane.getSelectedItems()[0].getNote().length

That means what it says. You'd get this if you or something on your system deleted the Zotero database file (zotero.sqlite) in your Zotero data directory outside of Zotero (e.g., by using disk-cleaning software). If you were syncing and all data is…

disk I/O error This is a generic storage I/O error — there's no way for us to tell you specifically what the problem is. The most common cause is having your Zotero data directory on a network filesystem or in a cloud storage folder (where it should…

We'll remove — thanks.

That would be some problem with your network or Firefox installation. There's no general problem with the extension. If this is an institutional computer, you should check with your IT department. You can also try downloading the XPI from another b…

We always need an example URL for problems with saving.

I'm still not sure what you mean. Snapshots shouldn't fail to save, and if they do, reloading the page shouldn't then work. If that's happening regularly for you, there's some more general problem.
-
You're saying this worked for you previously? I just tested the current beta in a Fedora 40 VM and was able to launch it via the launcher.
-
This is some sort of misunderstanding. All snapshots saved by Zotero in the last few years are single-file snapshots with embedded images and all JavaScript removed, so they are static files that won't change. It's not impossible for a page to not …

This should be fixed now in beta 103.

@Luram and others: This should be fixed now in beta 103.

@mjthoraval: Should be fixed in beta 103 — thanks.

@bennett.smith: Can you try beta 103 and let us know if that improves things for you?

Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then report the problem to the plugin's developer (and yo…

@mjthoraval: Would you actually ever use this in the library tab to affect the preview, or are you just noting the inconsistency? Because I'd be inclined to just put this in the Reader section of the settings, where it would be available to people w…

I have exactly the same problem and I did exactly the same, unloaded my zotero version, downloaded a new one, installed it, upgraded to add more space. And still, the references in my document are in red, the program keeps saying they are not linked…

@evanleer: That just means you had files locally that hadn't yet been uploaded. Local storage is unlimited. https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/storage_quota_and_local_storage

17726.20078 was an Insider Preview build from June 11. It's possible you've since opted out of the Insider program, but the current stable version of 2406 appears to be 17726.20160. You should install that. This is where all support happens. You're…

You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. If this is about saving, we always need an example URL. If you're having trouble saving across many sites, see Troubleshooting Problems Saving to Zotero.
