As explained in Locating Missing Zotero Data, you deleted your zotero.sqlite database and all backups. You can see that all the zotero.sqlite files were just created and are empty (1 MB or 5 MB). If you were syncing before, you can just sync to pul…

@oyvindbs: Can you actually reproduce this with a new file saved from the phone? If so, can you provide exact steps to reproduce?

(@DWL-SDCA: Thanks for trying to help, but our troubleshooting steps for word processor issues are pretty streamlined, and it doesn't really serve anyone to ask lots of unnecessary questions or make ad-hoc suggestions. We have precisely written docu…

That wouldn't be about Zotero. It would be about your OS's file cache if anything. To be clear, linking a file should be more or less instantaneous. If it's talking longer than a second or two, something is very wrong on your system. Note that hav…

ZoteroObjectUploadError: Note 'Annotations(7/16/2024, 12:44:19 PM)...' too long for item '17683342/MX2MQ5ZY' @RahulRao459: OK, so that's the note that's too long. Search for that timestamp or paste "MX2MQ5ZY" into the Zotero search bar in All Fields…

@RahulRao459: Can you provide a Debug ID for reproducing this?

You should test with at least the linked file on the non-virtualized local disk, if not the data directory.

Oh, no, I meant just check whether you see the problem in Firefox 115 ESR itself. That's what Zotero 7 is based on.

For problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer. (If this is a bug in Z7, he can report it to us, but he might just not be handling this right.)

Thank you!

Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it (almost certainly the Style plugin) and then report the probl…

OK, thanks.

But you're seeing the CAPTCHA occasionally just when browsing ScienceDirect when not using Zotero at all?
-
To be clear, it would just be one specific plugin. I think the Night plugin broke this. Possible others did too.

That's working for me from Safari. What exactly is happening when you try? Can you provide a Report ID from Zotero and a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for reloading the page and trying to save?
-
I'm not sure why you're opening a new thread for the same issue, but please don't do that.
-
If you go to Cite → "Export citation to RIS" on the ScienceDirect page, do you get a CAPTCHA ("Are You A Robot?") each time? Or does it start working for a while after you do it once?

You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.

Is this an institutional computer? If so, you'd have to talk to your IT department to see why files would be getting deleted. That wouldn't be related to Zotero. But you're at your Zotero Storage quota, so additional files haven't been uploaded to …
