A way to do this within Zotero is planned, but for now you can do a search in your OS for all PDFs within your Zotero data directory and then just sort the list by size. You can then find those PDFs in Zotero by name or copy the containing 8-charact…

I believe that plugin will *duplicate* the PDFs in those OS folders in local Zotero storage, in a collection structure that matches the folder structure. I'm pretty sure it has an option for creating linked files.

Actually, can you clarify what you mean here? You originally posted to a thread about auto-scroll — i.e., the feature where you can click once with the middle mouse button (which might be the scroll wheel) and then just move the mouse up or down to…

@m.a.lugo00: We're working on changing how Zotero saves attachments to better handle sites like ScienceDirect that use strict anti-bot protections. That's the actual solution for that.
-
The extension, however, is not allowing me to directly import citations into Zotero any more. What do you mean by this? See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.
-
@zanderpegues: You’d have to say more, or send them here. Zotero is developed primarily on Macs, and there’s certainly no general problem running Zotero on macOS. Macs also generally wouldn’t have AV software unless it’s something recommended or req…

@challholt: It works the same on all platforms. Note that you can't delete a highlight created in an external program unless you import the annotations via File → "Import Annotations…".

For problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer.

You delete groups in the groups section on the website.

Approximately how many citations, and what exact version of Word? Is this a new problem? What happened since the last time it was working?
-
The documentation doesn't really address this, though. There's a plugin that can import a hierarchy of folders: https://github.com/retorquere/zotero-folder-import I'm not sure if it's been updated for Z7. A future version of Zotero will support …

Sorry about that. Due to changes in Chrome, the Zotero Connector for Chrome needs to interact with webpages in a way that can interfere with a small handful of sites. We've asked Google to provide an alternative method. For now, we've added mail.on…

Are you referring to items or to files? If you are referring to items, you'll need to follow the steps on Changes Not Syncing. The debug output you provided doesn't include all the info requested. For files, see Files Not Syncing.

It looks like InfiniCLOUD just switched to a new site security certificate that depends on a root certificate that's not available in Zotero 6. (Nothing to do with "credentials".) For now, you can use the Zotero 7 beta and switch back to the releas…

We only ever want Debug IDs here. We'll excerpt relevant portions as necessary. The output you posted doesn't show a problem. And we'd really want to see an example file with which you're experiencing a problem.

@tim820: I answered this above. This is about images in notes.

So it doesn't work if you disable all plugins and restart, but restarting in Troubleshooting Mode still fixes it?
-
That's not going to happen. Embedded images are stored files that are managed internally, so they only sync via Zotero file syncing.
-
Yes, embedded images in notes are stored-file attachments, so they only sync via Zotero file syncing.

6.0.15 You're running a version of Zotero from September 2022. You should install the latest version from the download page and figure out why you haven't received automatic updates in two years.

This is a generic storage I/O error — there's no way for us to tell you specifically what the problem is. The most common cause is having your Zotero data directory on a network filesystem or in a cloud storage folder (where it should never be), but…

What happens if you manually disable all plugins?
-
See Files Not Syncing. The files you're trying to open aren't in your online library.

See Files Not Syncing.

(Aside from being a very bad idea, it was also likely unnecessary. Zotero itself will correct most incorrectly set paths just by choosing a Linked Attachment Base Directory that contains the files and trying to open one of them.)

@zlwu: You'd have to provide the PDF in question, either linked here or in an email to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.
