It lets you open an unproxied link in your browser and get redirected via your proxy so that you have full access to the the resource.

Assuming this is Windows, you can try the 64-bit version of the Zotero 7 beta.
-
No, there's no such option. You're saying you want to allow files from the web to be saved but not from the local disk?
-
Can you say more about exactly what you're doing and what happened?
-
Can you provide an example DOI and a Debug ID for reproducing it?
-
It's very unlikely that this isn't working. You might just have more than one copy of the same file in Zotero. You can paste the 8-character folder name into the Zotero search bar in All FIelds & Tags mode in the library root to see the attachme…

That doesn't really make sense. You can always force an update to the latest version in the App Store if you haven't yet been auto-updated for some reason. There's no difference between the current release version and the current beta.
-
@tongji_cyh: It's just some problem with your configuration or account. The error message is correct — it's not a WebDAV URL. You'd have to ask them for assistance. Nothing to do with the certificate issue.

Convert Linked Files to Stored Files should work as long as the files exist where they're supposed to on the current computer. If it's not working for a given file, provide a Debug ID for running it on that file and having it not work.
-
We'll take a look.
-
@P4R4D0X: Let us know if you can still reproduce the hanging in the latest beta.
-
We're working on some improvements here, to keep more active tabs in memory while unloading tabs automatically after inactivity or if the system is low on available memory.

You just add additional creators using the + button. https://www.zotero.org/support/adding_items_to_zotero#editing_items
-
@linn.a: Beta 109 will no longer change the attachment title if set to not rename the file.
-
@henryskyleung: Fixed in the latest beta
-
@RaffaeleCongiu, @frankweber: This is fixed in the latest Zotero 7 beta.

If you deleted a collection and then restored from a backup, you have to actually complete the documented steps to make a copy of the collection. Otherwise it will just disappear again the next time you sync as it applies the previous deletion. (Zo…

Reload Google Docs and restart the Zotero app and try again, and check whether a dialog is appearing behind your other browser or Zotero windows.
-
@migugg: My Publications isn't automatically populated, and it has nothing to do with the author metadata. You have to actually drag items there to add them.
-
(Please start new threads for new issues. I've moved this to a new thread.) The bibliography would disappear and be replaced with a placeholder line if "Automatically update citations" is disabled in the plugin's document preferences. That's normal…

Try again now. It looks like we had a slight misconfiguration on our end, and your mail provider was being unusually strict and rejecting our emails. We've never seen this before, but it's fixed now, so I'd guess that emails will go through again. S…

That's likely just a network or server issue, but can you provide a Debug ID for a Verify Server attempt that hangs?
-
Can you provide a screenshot? Might just be this: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/word_field_codes

See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#installation_error Note in particular: If you believe your Java configuration is correct and you're still getting an error for a manual installation attempt, you can try dele…

The latest build hasn't been pushed. There are no geographical or device restrictions.
-
That means what it says. Most likely you copied your Zotero data directory from another computer and the permissions are incorrect.
-
See Files Not Syncing. The files you're trying to open don't exist on the WebDAV server (so they would also only exist on one of your computers).
-
See the end of the steps — it says to provide a Report ID and send a document excerpt to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.
-
If you send the PDF to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread, we can take a look. It might have trouble with the spaces, which are much less common than hyphens. Double-clicking the ISBN does not highlight the entire string but only one segm…

Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a sync attempt that produces the error?
