@Ostfriesennerz: If there’s something you don’t understand, you should respond here, not post to someone else’s thread. I missed that you were talking about highlighting, not inking. That’s just the first tool in the annotation toolbar.

The first tool is a highlighter. (You can just try it. You can always delete an annotation.)
-
View → Show Items from Subcollections. It's off by default.
-
The storage limit is just for syncing files. You can store as much as you want locally.
-
Doesn't syncing goes ahead also when I close the desktop app? No, Zotero has to be open for it to sync.
-
Disable the Style plugin and (if that fixes it) report the problem to the developer. (If it doesn't, you'll need to figure out what other plugin is causing this.)
-
My recommendation would be to just…stop. There's just no reason you should have to do this.
-
You're still not providing what I asked for: After that, we'd want to see a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing the problem, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option.
-
Whatever this is, we can't fix it in Zotero 6, so you should try the Zotero 7 beta and see if it happens there too. If so, we can add some additional logging in a beta build to figure out what's happening.
-
But if you're getting the "There was an error starting Zotero" dialog, Zotero is still open. Not sure what you mean by "crashing"?
-
That shows an ongoing sync. You moved a huge number of items to the trash — I'd guess from repeated imports that you then deleted — that need to propagate.
-
This doesn't work very well on Windows, but you can try logging to a terminal window and then copying at least the end of the log into an email.
-
Not clear what you mean. See Reporting Problems for the things we need from you to help. A screenshot would also be helpful.
-
Ah, OK, that makes sense. And no, we don’t use Fluent variables at that level of granularity.
-
It's in the new sidebar to the right of the item pane in Zotero 7. We haven't yet made that accessible via the keyboard, but that's on our to-do list.
-
OK, I went through and reverted all those changes, and I removed that user from the UK English team, so hopefully this won't happen again. I'm still not sure why Transifex allows it.
-
Yes, they're all from the same user, who is in both the UK English and Turkish teams. The glossary doesn't seem to have a region, and they seem to allow someone from any English team to overwrite the source glossary terms, which it absolutely should…
-
@northword: Is the glossary feature actually useful? I didn't even know it existed, and in the new Z7 string format we already have the ability to reuse common strings. We could just turn it off…
-
I'm not even totally clear what's happening here. How are non-English strings even making it into the glossary as source terms? I wouldn't think translators of other languages would even be able to do that. I guess because this person is in the UK …

@liuenqian: Please stop creating new threads for this issue. If you'd like our help, you'll need to respond in this thread with the information we asked for.
-
Please stop creating new threads for the same issue. You need to respond in the thread where we've already responded to you: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/116254/
-
Wait, I already told you this days ago in another thread, and instead of responding you just started another thread. Please don't do that. Continue in your original thread: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/116254/
-
That's not from Zotero startup like I asked for, and that also has some external tool ("zoterogpt") making repeated requests at Zotero. You should stop whatever that is.
-
That's a Report ID. We need a Debug ID. Follow my link for instructions.
-
Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through a minute of loading, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
-
Disable plugins, like I said.
-
You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need. And whatever it is, make sure you can reproduce it after restarting Zotero with all plugins disabled.
-
The item type is guessed based on the available metadata. You can see the translator code for specifics. Snapshot saving is controlled by the user. The Embedded Metadata translator saves snapshots if the user has snapshot saving enabled and a PDF i…

I can't reproduce that. If I unsubscribe from a feed, I can add it again immediately and it appears in the Feeds section. If you can reproduce this, can you provide a Debug ID for doing so?
