You don't say what the problem is, but if you're using Chrome, there's a problem in the current version of the Zotero Connector for Chrome that's causing it to fail on various websites. We've submitted a fix to Google, and it should be out within th…

Likely this, but with a "1" instead of a period: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/108764/google-doc-is-cycling This would happen if you edited a citation by accident to include only a "1" (or some other operation did that), and on Google Docs …

Yes, again, that's the Add Note window — it appears when you click Add Note. It's displaying one of the notes in your library. Again, you have to either insert a note or actually close the yellow window by pressing Esc if you then want to insert a c…

Delete Zotero from Applications and then reinstall, either the release or the beta. Your data won't be affected.
-
When you say you "tried deleting the profile in the directory", what exactly did you do? Deleting the Zotero profile folder is the only known fix for this.
-
That's a generic error trying to access the database on the network drive. You can ask your IT department, but otherwise the best we can suggest is moving the data directory to the local disk if that's an option. Network drives should generally work…

6.0.9 You're running a version of Zotero from June 2022. You should install the latest version from the download page and figure out why you haven't received automatic updates in over two years.
-
I don't know how the Flatpak is set up, but generally your Zotero data directory is totally separate from the application directory. You can switch back and forth between Zotero 6 and 7 with the same data directory.
-
You'd have to say more, but if you're saying you didn't sync and lost your data locally, then no, I'm afraid there'd be no way to restore data other than some backup you made on your own.

@slipthay: That's super helpful — thanks.
-
I'm not clear whether you're saying the problem is in the online version or in the app. Can you be more specific? If you're talking about the app, see Changes Not Syncing.

Fixed now in 7.0.1-beta.2. You can re-enable that setting if you want. Thanks for reporting.

@WYHY: Fixed now in 7.0.1-beta.2. Thanks for reporting.

You should be able to resize a standalone reader window to whatever size you want. The main window is limited by the size of the panes in the library tab. You can make them narrower or hide them to allow the window to be resized smaller.
-
What message? That's the Add Note window showing a note from your library. If you're trying to add a citation, you need to Esc out of that and click Add/Edit Citation.
-
@pro.mahatma: This is fixed in 7.0.1-beta.2. Like the issue in your other thread, this happened when "Enable bidirectional text editing utilities" was enabled in the Advanced pane of the settings. Thanks for reporting.

See Adding PDFs and Other Files, including "Standalone Attachments and Parent Items".
-
OK, try the latest.
-
Well, if you're going to shift your eyes anywhere, it would just be to the parent row. You don't need to click on the attachment and then look in the right-hand pane. More importantly, you don't actually need to expand the parent item at all to ope…

Please continue in your existing thread, where I already responded to you: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/116813/zotero-7-zotero-experienced-an-error-updating-your-document

@Linyinzheng: It's all explained on the linked page. You can say why you prefer seeing filenames, but there's no problem to report here — it's behaving as intended.

@pro.mahatma: Actually, sorry, this (and the creators problem in your other thread) is a bug in 7.0.1-beta.1 when "Enable bidirectional text editing utilities" is enabled in the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings. (It's off by default.) We'll hav…

You don't need to paste the error output here — that's the point of the Report ID. Again, you should follow the steps on https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/could_not_find_a_running_word_instance
