That doesn't seem to show you opening a file, though. Does this happen only for a specific file? Can you 1) disable all plugins manually, 2) close all tabs, 3) restart Zotero, and 4) provide a Debug ID just for opening the file that triggers this …

Disable your other browser extensions and try again. Beyond that, you'd have to try from a different network. You're still getting an HTTP 500 server error, either from the site or something on your computer or network.

For problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer.

What macOS/Safari version?

There shouldn't be a difference between Zotero 6 and Zotero 7. You're welcome to test with Zotero 6 from the download page. If possible, you should try from a different network.

This should be fixed now in Zotero 7.0.5.

@Mar_Lu: This should be fixed now in Zotero 7.0.5.

@lound: If you've still been seeing this (intermittently, most likely), we believe this is fixed now in Zotero 7.0.5.

PDF metadata retrieval uses the same DOI lookup process, so that would be similarly affected. Metadata updating is coming but isn't yet available. For now, creating a new item with Add Item by Identifier, selecting both items, right-clicking, and m…

If it takes more than 30 seconds, it's going to fail in Zotero, since that's the timeout. In general, though, either this is a problem with your internet connection or Safari/Edge are using a different internet connection than Zotero. See Connectio…

The change mentioned above is now available in Zotero 7.0.5.

Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. Can you still reproduce the problem?

Make sure you're running Zotero 7 and that the Zotero Connector has permission to access all sites.

You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.

It's working for me, but you were getting a server error trying to download metadata. Are you still seeing this? It might have just been a temporary problem. If you're still seeing it, can you provide a Debug ID (you provided a Report ID) from the …

OK, great. @hcro137, can you also test whether the repeated installations have stopped for you with 7.0.4 (now 7.0.5)?
-
Yeah, that works for me. @bryanjohnang, if you're still having trouble, we'd need to know the browser you're using, and we'd want to see a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for reloading the page and saving.

Nothing to do with WebDAV. You seem to have an item with an invalid Accessed date value — the extra "Z" at the end is incorrect. You can search for the date value above or paste '4GXM97C4' into the search bar in All Fields & Tags mode. That's …

There's no attempt to open a file in there. Are you saying that you get an error when you try to open a file, or are you not seeing a PDF icon at all in the items list on the iPad? If the former, we'd need to see a Debug ID for actually trying to o…

Start by installing Zotero 7 from the download page.

Sorry, it looks like this was a bug in Zotero 7.0.4, which was just released. It should be fixed in Zotero 7.0.5, available now. Thanks for reporting. Note, though, that this would only happen if you had your Zotero data directory in a cloud storag…

(Please don't post debug output here — we only ever want Report IDs or Debug IDs.) Again, the terms you're referring to aren't part of Zotero. If you're asking about a feature of Zotero itself, start by updating to Zotero 7, disable all plugins, a…
