What's the exact error that you're getting? Were you using Zotero on this computer before, or did you transfer the data directory from another computer?
-
See either Changes Not Syncing or Files Not Syncing, depending on whether you're referring to data or files.
-
Can you provide a screenshot of what you're referring to, as well as a Report ID?
-
Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing this, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
-
Linked files aren't supported in the mobile apps.
-
Ah, well, OK. In that case, you can just delete the new profile and its data directory.
-
Something is likely corrupted in your original profile. The easiest option would be to just point the new profile at your original data directory from the Advanced settings. You might need to reconfigure some things (e.g., sync settings), but this w…

(@rudrab: We don't provide official support for linked files in general, but note that you're also using an unofficial, sandboxed Flatpak version of Zotero, which might further complicate things.)
-
Does it work if you create a new new Zotero profile?
-
If you change the language to U.S. English in the General pane of the settings, does it work properly? (I'm not seeing this if I switch to your locale, though.)
-
You've never synced the account you're posting from. You can see the account you're syncing from in the Sync pane of the Zotero settings. If you'd like us to transfer your subscription to a different account, email storage@zotero.org with details.
-
It depends on when exactly you did this and the dates of the backup files. The linked page explains how you'd check this.
-
Can you provide a Report ID?
-
One of the groups your groups is a public open group that doesn't allow files. If that's where you're trying to drag to, that's why. If not, we'd want to see a Debug ID for reproducing this.
-
You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.
-
As I say, we may be able to relink your attachments after you've restored your data. But you'd have to follow the instructions on the page I linked to first to actually restore your original data.
-
Question: Is there a local cache? If I've downloaded a document in a collection recently, and I'm using Zotero Android offline, would it still be there? @kwmullet: Yes, files you open are currently downloaded and stored on device permanently, unless…
-
If you just did this, you may be able to restore from one of your automatic backups. Attachment files wouldn't be restored, but we may be able to relink any that had already been uploaded to your online library after you restore the data. but becaus…

You can just disable file syncing — for My Library and/or for groups — in the Sync settings. If you want to use storage for groups you own, you can use "Purge Storage in My Library" from your storage settings page. (You're still over 300 MB with yo…

@testplayer: That has nothing to do with using a portable version — the application files and the data files are always separate. And you can switch back and forth between Zotero 6 and 7 with the same data at any time.
-
It's explained on the linked page.
-
It's not clear what you mean by this. See Reporting Problems for the two things we'd need to help.
-
Yes, it works.
-
Nothing to do with Sequoia. Plugins had to be rewritten for Zotero 7. Not all are compatible, and some might need to be reinstalled.
-
What do you mean by that, exactly?
-
@Stephen71: Correct.
-
For problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer.
-
Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then report the problem to the plugin's developer.
