The message means what it says. You likely added the file on another computer, and since you were at your storage quota, it was never uploaded. Upgrading now doesn't do anything on its own — you need to sync the computer where the files exist so tha…

That's an outdated URL format and wouldn't work in a group library. Zotero will likely gain the ability to generate item URLs at some point, but until then, you'll need to use a plugin that can generate proper URLs from any library.

On Google Scholar, it's almost always just a result of trying to save too many items at once and Google blocking you. https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/site_access_limits Just click through to the publication itself and save from there (which will…

There's no need to use a plugin for this. "Rename File from Parent Metadata" works on multiple attachments. You can select multiple attachments at once by doing a search for "pdf" or similar in All Fields & Tags mode and then doing a Select All…

This could be an issue with security software on your system, an issue with incorrect file permissions in the Zotero data directory, or some problem with whatever E: is. You can try moving your data directory to the default location in C:.

I mean both. Zotero 7 contains a huge number of improvements and bug fixes across the app. We can't spend time debugging things that have very likely already been fixed and where the most likely answer is "update to Zotero 7". And if something isn't…

The transition period was the year-plus that Zotero 7 was in beta, while we still put out updates to Zotero 6. Now that Zotero 7 is out and Help → "Check for Updates…" offers Zotero 7, there can't be further Zotero 6 updates, so there's no way we co…

Yes, we obviously recommend using a supported version. From the installation page: In particular, third-party packages may be sandboxed, breaking various functionality. The Zotero 6 tarball is not auto-updating to 7 yet, though it will at some point…

No, it doesn't work that way — the web version can't be corrupted. This is about corruption of the local database file, so restoring from synced data on the web is always the best option.

You'd have to ask the package maintainers. We don't have anything to do with the Snap installation. We only support the tarball from this site and zotero-deb. https://www.zotero.org/support/installation#linux

The CAPTCHA window should now show again. Thanks.

If you were syncing anyway, the safer option would be to just delete zotero.sqlite and sync to pull down your full library. The DB repair tool corrects the database file structure itself and fixes other known data issues, but it's possible to have o…

@akuhnert1962: In our testing, lowercase /s works fine.

The account you're posting from doesn't belong to any groups. She would have to invite you to the group.

We've made changes in Zotero 7.0.7 that should increase the likelihood of the citation dialog receiving focus on the first citation.

There’s no error in there. Make sure you’re generating the Report ID after reproducing the error and before restarting Zotero.

From Multiple Profiles: When you create a new profile (e.g., “Work”), if there's already a profile pointing to the default data directory location, Zotero will create a new data directory named after the new profile (e.g., “Zotero Work”) when you fi…
