It's an option when you right-click on an attachment, but Zotero automatically renames files. You don't need to use that option at all unless you manually changed the metadata since you added the file.

Make sure you're installing the latest version of Zotero, 7.0.8, from the download page. This could happen in earlier versions on certain computers when Zotero was run by a non-adminstrator user, but as far as we know it's fixed in 7.0.8.

That sounds like a problem with your installation of Zotero, not with Zotero itself. You should uninstall Zotero and reinstall it from the download page. If this is an institutional computer, you should ask your IT department for help.

I can reproduce the switch to Light mode when printing a bibliography. We'll fix — thanks. I would be very surprised if the items actually lost tags due to printing, though. Can you reproduce that?
