@ulrikkau: In general, see Changes Not Syncing. If you're still having trouble, say more about what exactly you've tried and what's happening.
-
How many items in the library? If you tried to import multiple times and have deleted large sets of items, make sure you've emptied the trash.
-
Make sure the citation dialog isn't just appearing behind your other windows. That's the most likely thing here. If you're sure it's not that, we would want a Debug ID for reproducing this after restarting Zotero.
-
Can you share a screenshot of what you’re referring to?
-
No, you're misunderstanding. Files have always been renamed. They were being renamed without your manually running Rename File from Parent Metadata before, and they're still being renamed in Zotero 7. It's just no longer changing the attachment titl…

We always need an example URL for problems with saving. Note that, while saving a PDF directly should work, you generally should save from the article page, not the PDF itself.
-
See Zotero Toolbar Doesn't Appear and the platform-specific steps linked from there, and if you're still having trouble, let us know exactly what you tried, in your own words, and what happened at each step.
-
@potheekaami: No, you have the exact same issue. The owner is at their storage quota.

Are you running any third-party software that might affect the trackpad? Note that it's probably not the "last" context menu that's appearing — it's just triggering the context menu on the selected tree row. If you just left-click a collection or i…

You’re at your file storage quota, so no additional files are being uploaded. Zotero would be showing you a warning icon about that in the toolbar on every sync.

It's not a general problem on 15.1. But the anchoring behavior you're seeing is very likely from the commit I linked to, which was added in 7.0.8 on October 18. It shouldn't really matter, but is this a MacBook or a Magic Trackpad?
-
You should ask your IT department. This would generally be due to something like Cisco Secure (which has caused lots of recent problems).
-
I suspect the relevant commit here is https://github.com/zotero/zotero/commit/23f9ebcd17b773b7389171ea9c2b1332288d9b01 and that 15.2 is causing this code to be triggered for you for a two-finger click. We'll try to test on the 15.2 beta.
-
Oh, this is on the macOS 15.2 beta? Can you reproduce this on a 15.1 machine?
-
You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.
-
Is your institution running any third-party security software?
-
No.
-
See what I said above: If you're getting that message, the file doesn't exist on this computer, which means it either never existed on this computer or something deleted it outside of Zotero. So either you added it on another computer or you did som…

@wassmer: Can you explain exactly what you're doing and what's happening, and include a screenshot?
-
Yeah, that's not a message about Zotero. It has nothing to do with Zotero syncing. Zotero-Copie.lnk would be some sort of Windows shortcut that you created. If you're saying you can't open Zotero at all, you can reinstall it from the download page…
-
Make sure you've set up syncing: https://www.zotero.org/support/sync If you're still having trouble, see Changes Not Syncing.
-
Yes, because when LibreOffice is installed, Zotero uses a LibreOffice command to try to install the extension. If there's a problem with your LibreOffice installation, you'll get this error. It's possible to have Zotero skip automatic installation …
-
Don't translate anything. We always just need the exact message you're seeing on screen. But Zotero doesn't have anything to do with OneDrive, so if you're receiving some authentication error from OneDrive, that wouldn't be related to Zotero. Agai…
-
What do you mean "I can't open the pdf within my Zotero viewer/browser"? It sounds like it's trying to retrieve metadata and producing bad results (which could easily happen with a random report), but that wouldn't stop you from editing the metadat…

Start by updating to Zotero 7.
-
Your Debug ID doesn't show a save attempt, but start by updating to Zotero 7. If it's still not working, provide another Debug ID that shows you trying to save.
-
But you're aware of the Outline view in the reader? Do you just want to be able to see that from the items list without opening the file?
-
You just customize the citation and add a locator (e.g., page number): https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage#customizing_cites You can also add annotations to a Zotero note and insert the note into your document with the word …

If you add many at once, you might get blocked by WorldCat. Can you provide a Debug ID for an attempt that fails?
