No, whether you get in-text citations or footnotes/endnotes depends on the style you've selected in the plugin's Document Preferences. Add Note is for inserting Zotero notes — that's not what you want.
-
You're clicking Add Note instead of Add/Edit Citation.

We always need an example URL for problems with saving.

OK, this should be fixed in Zotero 7.0.10-beta.3, available within a few minutes, and the fix will be included in 7.0.10 soon. Thanks for reporting.

Should be fixed in the latest beta

OK, fixed in the Zotero 7.0.10-beta.3 (available in a few minutes for Windows), and the fix will be included in 7.0.10 soon.

Assuming you're talking about saving from your browser, to be clear, there's not really a "Puzzle feature" — that's just the menu your browser shows for unpinned extension buttons. If you save to Zotero regularly, you should pin its button to the to…

Plugins can do their own thing, but generally settings should be in the prefs.js file in your Zotero profile folder. Open that in a text editor and delete lines matching the extension.

Can you also share a screenshot, either here or in an email to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread? (We'll respond here either way.) Not clear what you mean by "bring a big section of the research paper".

Search for "openoffice" in the Config Editor in the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings and set extensions.zoteroOpenOfficeIntegration.skipInstallation to true. (It shouldn't be automatically reinstalling on each restart, though — only on plugin v…

@lsdphd: Oh, also, assuming you're right-clicking on the collection to start the export rather than selecting all the items, make sure you're not just viewing items from subcollections with View → Show Items from Subcollections. Items from subcollec…

Can you share a couple screenshots — either here or in an email to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread — of what you're exporting and what you're getting in the export, along with a Debug ID for an export attempt?

1) Update to Zotero 7. 2) If the problem continues, restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then…

Could you say what you don't understand about the instructions? You just have to enter your username and password in the Sync pane of the Zotero settings and click Set Up Syncing.

@User885: Actually, there's a change in Zotero 7 here that could be causing this. We'll have an update soon.

OK, forget about clearing the index for the moment. Let's focus on the actual problem you're facing. You're saying you add a new file and it doesn't get indexed? If you click on the attachment item, it shows Indexed: No? Can you provide a Debug ID …

xul.dll is a Firefox file that we include in Zotero. We don't re-sign it, since Windows itself doesn't enforce code signatures on DLLs. It sounds like Tenable does. I don't think anyone else has ever reported a problem with this, but we'll look int…

You may have made the index unworkably big by increasing those numbers from the defaults. Why exactly are you trying to clear the index? Have you tried running it and then not performing any other tasks in Zotero (including by temporarily disablin…

Restart Zotero and try again, and if you're still having trouble provide a Debug ID for reproducing this.
-
(And I assume you know this, but if you require any sort of login to access the PDFs, rather than just accessing them by virtue of your IP address, it wouldn't work from within Zotero.)
-
We can't help much with custom resolvers, but if you provide a Debug ID for an attempt that fails, we can take a look.
-
You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.

Again, if you're using Better BibTeX, you need to report this to the BBT developer, not here.
-
@mikeyh30: We just need a feed URL where you're seeing this.

Fixed. Thanks for reporting.
