Your collections are in the trash. You or someone else moved them there. If you don't think you did it, it's possible you left yourself logged in on a shared computer, and you can remove all browser sessions and applications on in your account secur…

We don't yet have any reason to think it happens due to the Tahoe clipboard manager — we'd likely be getting many more reports if that were the case. It's more likely that you haven't fully disabled Copy 'Em — make sure you've removed any Login Item…

if i selected "my library" on a recently-logged-in device and selected "sync" I'm not sure what you mean by this. Selected "sync" how? The proper way to bring your devices in sync is to let Zotero sync — that's it. You'll never lose data via syncin…

https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/installing_on_a_chromebook On an ARM Chromebook, you currently need to use the Zotero 8 beta.

(Please start new threads for new issues — there's no way of knowing if the other thread is related without an error log. I've moved this to a new thread.) Note that you can always share a Report ID, and you can share a Debug ID if you can reproduc…

Not currently, but it will be possible in a future version to change the primary attachment for an item.

Don't edit the citation manually. Customize the citation and use Omit Author. See "Narrative Citations with Omit Author” there.

Answered there, but I’m still confused by the question. @nicholajraihani, what prompt are you referring to, exactly? What did it say? Zotero updates itself within the app — that's not something you do from Finder, where this message would be from. …

I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to here. That's a message from macOS — it's not something you should ever see in Zotero itself. And updating the app wouldn't have anything to do with your own Zotero library files. If you're actually just…

No, that's not possible. The point of syncing is to make the entire library available on all devices. There are options to not download all files to some devices, but anything in the library gets uploaded unless you actually disable file syncing.

Again, did you really mean 7.0.2, or did you mean 7.0.24? Can you provide a Report ID?

Have you checked the style you have selected for Quick Copy in the Export pane of the settings?

You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing.

We're working with Microsoft to make a Word for iOS plugin possible, but we're currently waiting (and have been waiting for a long time) for additional changes on their end. You can use Quick Copy to copy citations to your document, but whether tha…

That page works for me. See Troubleshooting Problems Saving to Zotero, and provide the requested info if you're still having trouble. (Start around Step 11.)

We might add a keyboard shortcut later — this is just the way you can do it now. Find-as-you-type doesn't seem to find sub-collections that are not fully expanded? You can press + first to expand all collections.

There's no one-click way to do this, but using the default citation dialog, you can click Add/Edit Citation, click the item bubble, and then click Open in My Library. We might offer a quicker way to do this in the future. (Note that you don't need …

Embedded attachment notes are no longer supported in Zotero 7. Instead, you should create either sibling child notes on the parent item or note annotations in the PDF reader. Existing embedded attachment notes should still show up with a button to …

It should be. Restart Zotero and/or your computer and try again. If you have any Zotero plugins or third-party software, try disabling them.

is it possible for each of us to generate citations from a group library into a Google Doc such that the Google Doc would act as if any one of us had created any of the linked Zotero citations that appear in the Google Doc? Yes, and this is how we r…

You pinned the Tags section. Double-click the icon or right-click → Unpin Section.

If your items are still in Mendeley, you can repeat the import, but otherwise not without a backup.

We've removed the block. Thanks for adjusting your code.

If there are no functional citations, you can just save it as a .docx and reinsert everything in Word. Otherwise, you'd want to follow the conversion instructions.

It's just text in your document. Highlight it and delete it.
-
Delete the bibliography and reinsert it with the plugin.
-
The bibliography was likely also flattened, so you need to delete it and reinsert it. It will then show you the actual active citations in the document (once you add any).
