Now I renamed it to "Zotero" when closed, got a connection request to stream.zotero.org, it came with the following text: "Warning The program has been modified! That's just from your installation of Little Snitch. file missing: /Applications/Zoter…

Zotero only ever saves files from the web as stored files. If you want linked files, you'd have to use a plugin for that, and you'd configure the target folder in that plugin's settings. The Linked Attachment Base Directory setting doesn't control …

Can you provide a Report ID? Does this happen with any PDF? E.g., this one?
-
Intel or ARM?
-
(And you're running some endpoint-protection software there, so obviously this is a customized Windows installation. You should talk to your IT department if you're having trouble.)
-
That's a problem with your Windows installation. You're missing some intermediate or root certificates.
-
Not clear what you mean by that. See Reporting Problems for the two things we'd need to help.
-
If you open Terminal from Spotlight, paste in this command, and press Return, what's the output? codesign -vvvv /Applications/Zotero.app/
-
That file has a valid signature. https://s3.amazonaws.com/zotero.org/images/forums/u6/qx8cwo3ep4ylt30btf4u.png

@mm-ee: Try again now.
-
Where did you download Zotero from? What's the full filename? The .exe from our site has a valid signature.
-
That's just a bug in Zotero 7. Subcollections have hyphens before them, and they're supposed to be indented a certain number of spaces based on the collection hierarchy, but that's not happening anymore. We'll fix.
-
That's a 403 Forbidden error from your WebDAV provider.
-
Yeah, I just noticed that as well. We'll fix — thanks.

Er, sorry, for footnotes it would be one of the footnote styles in Word ("Footnote Text"). But no, there's nothing to set here in Zotero.
-
Modify the "Bibliography" Word style. Zotero doesn't set anything related to the font or font size.
-
You weren't syncing previously, at least with this account. Unless you were syncing with a different account, you'd only be able to restore from a backup you made of your Zotero data directory.
-
We always need an example URL for problems with saving. Note that, whenever possible, you should save from the article page, not try to save the PDF directly.
-
It auto-empties items in your personal library trash after 30 days, yes. This is configurable in the settings. If this just happened, you might be able to restore them from one of the automatic backups. (Increase the auto-empty setting before tryin…

J'ai essayé de re insérer la bibliographie […] mais cela ne marche pas. Meaning what? What exactly happens? What happens if you insert a new citation?
-
@adamsmith: Ah, that makes more sense.

Your Zotero database is corrupted. (Do you have your data directory in the default location, or did you move it somewhere else?) https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/corrupted_database

Not sure what you mean here, but I assume you're referring to something from a plugin. Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the…

Since I have a Firefox installed, I assume, it is already released for ARM? Not from Mozilla. There's a Nightly version, but no Release/Beta/DevEdition/ESR. You might be using a third-party package, since some of those have been updated. But Mozill…

(Just to note, it might take up to 2 hours from now for some people to see the correct site.)

Oh, actually, I guess it was that it was set to citation-style-editor.github.com, which is owned by the Mendeley dev who initially made the editor. So maybe it's not that .com stopped working but that it was using his fork all along and he removed i…

We haven't made any changes to this in years, but editor.citationstyles.org was a CNAME to citation-style-editor.github.com instead of citation-style-editor.github.io. I guess that may have been some very old configuration that worked until just now…

This is fixed now in 1.0.45.

You'll need to say more. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.
