That's disk space, not memory usage, and is almost certainly not true. You can check the size of C:\Program Files\Zotero yourself — it should be about 200 MB.

You didn't answer my second question about an empty document. Mac Word integration is currently rather slow, so with a document of that size, you might have to wait a while to refresh the full document — potentially hours or overnight. For inserti…

If you can't even submit debug output, it's likely just some general problem with your network connection. See Connection Error.
-
If you don't have a backup, you weren't syncing, and you switched accounts, you wouldn't be able to recover that data. Zotero does what the warning says it's going to do.
-
Can you provide a screenshot of what you mean?
-
The page explains exactly what to do and what information we'd need to help you if you're still having trouble. (It also says "Do not try to import an .sqlite file into Zotero via File → “Import…” — it won't work.")
-
See Changes Not Syncing. (And Google Docs isn't relevant here. You either have the group library in your local Zotero or you don't.)
-
(There's a new API for custom item tree columns in Zotero 7.)

Size as in how many pages and citations? Is it fast in a new, empty document?
-
If you mean that you switched sync accounts, when you did so, Zotero warned you that it would delete all local data for the old account, required you to check a checkbox saying "Remove all data for “[old account]” from this computer", and said to ma…

disk I/O error This is a generic storage I/O error. There's no way for us to tell you specifically what the problem is, but the most common cause is having your Zotero data directory on a network filesystem or in a cloud storage folder (where it sho…

If you provide a Debug ID for a sync attempt, we might be able to say more, but that looks like some sort of problem with your computer setup (e.g., security software or incorrect time or time zone) or internet connection (proxy server). That WebDAV…

Some years ago I restored using this method and had problems with proper referencing of the files on my computer with their entries on the bibliography. (Not sure what you mean by this, but a proper backup and restore of the data directory would alw…

Customize the citation and use Omit Author. See "Narrative Citations with Omit Author” there.

Start by upgrading to Zotero 7.

Can you provide a Report ID? If you right-click → Show File, are you able to open the PDF in another PDF reader?
-
There are only a couple items in your online library, and the couple that are there were created last month. Most likely you simply hadn't set up syncing on your previous computer — Zotero doesn't sync unless you set it up (though it warns you if yo…

We've made changes to the dark theme and added additional themes in the Zotero 7.1 beta.
-
@ralphjmccoy: Because you're running the beta, and it was removed, as I explain in the linked post.
-
You'd have to ask the package maintainers. We don't have anything to do with the Flatpak.

You can only add to My Publications by dragging existing items already in your library.

What are the exact steps you're taking to trigger this? Can you make a screen recording and email it or send a link to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

I'm actually not sure what @Pedibul is referring to. The word processor plugin buttons are not currently localizable, as @bwiernik says. The "{Citation}" placeholder that appears in the document is hard-coded, but that should also be localizable i…

@os59: You seem to have misunderstood this thread. No one is saying you shouldn't create webpage items. The point is that you should just load the page in your browser and click Zotero's save button rather than spending time creating a webpage item…

Yes, just to note for others, Zotero 7 added a dark mode to the reader, and we've now added additional themes (including sepia, similar to the Firefox Reader View) in the Zotero 7.1 beta: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/121707/available-for-be…
