See Changes Not Syncing. (Note, though, that you're at your storage quota, so some attachment files wouldn't be syncing regardless. See Transferring a Library.)

What error, exactly? I'm not seeing any errors in there.
-
This should be fixed in the latest beta.
-
OK, that's totally normal, then.

@hmyam: 1) That's 2.2 GB, not 3.3–4.5. 2) If I restart Zotero in Troubleshooting Mode, open only that PDF, scroll from the top to the bottom, and then wait a minute to let memory usage settle, Zotero ends up around 770 MB. In regular mode with no …

Are you saying you get a crash with the tarball as well, or just a logged error message? Does it crash if you install the Zotero 7.1 beta?
-
We could, if there's consensus that it's necessary. I think "Classic" could be somewhat confusing as the UI term. "Classical Work"?
-
For problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer.
-
That shows a normal startup. What exactly did you do to reproduce the issue there, and what did you see? [OK, saw your edit.] Note that it would be normal for Zotero to use some CPU when it first starts up. After the initial auto-sync finishes, CPU…

That's not for Zotero startup. See above for what we need.
-
Can you disable all plugins and provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing the issue, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
-
Not currently. Zotero is based on Firefox, and Firefox doesn't use $XDG_CONFIG_HOME. There's a two-decade-old Firefox ticket (do not post there) to make that an option, which has seen some progress recently. If that's ever finished, Zotero will gain…
-
You have to describe the issue.
-
That would be empty on the old computer too. You likely deleted your zotero.sqlite database (e.g., while trying to clear disk space) sometime between December 2 and December 13. (Or, if you actually copied this folder in December, zotero.sqlite migh…

That's from the Zotero Connector. We need a Debug ID from Zotero.

(Please start new threads for new issues — the thread you posted to isn't related. I've moved this to a new thread.) 1) Make sure you're running Zotero 7. 2) If it's still happening, provide a screenshot of what you're trying and what's happening,…

1. Use Reference Extractor to select the cited items from your document in Zotero. (There will be a way to do this from within Zotero in a future update.) 2. File → Export PDFs.
-
Restart your computer and try again. If it still happens, can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for Zotero startup through reproducing this, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?
-
See Zotero Toolbar Doesn't Appear.
-
See Reporting Problems for the two things we need in order to help. If you can cite in a new document, see Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents for the existing document.
-
@hmyam: You're saying that's with a single tab open with a 1 MB PDF? That's definitely not normal. If you can reproduce that, please provide a link to the PDF or send it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.
-
I'm still not sure what you mean here. This should work fine, and does for me: 1. Click any row in the items list to give the items list focus 2. Press Ctrl-A to select all items 3. Press Enter to send the selected items to the search bar. It shou…

Well, you can run ./zotero -ZoteroDebugText just to make sure it's not actually starting up and quitting. You can also try ./zotero --safe-mode to see if that makes a difference.
-
You'd have to look into your system logs or do other debugging. That's not something others have reported, and Zotero certainly runs on stock Ubuntu 24.04.2.
-
What do you see if you run ./zotero?
-
If you just mean that you're using Zotero syncing, that obviously shouldn't make Zotero slow. What exactly is slow? Can you disable any plugins and provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through performing an operation that's slow, using the "Resta…

Open public groups don't allow files.

Not yet, but we're working on it.

Can you provide a Debug ID from Zotero for reloading the page and trying to save? (To be clear, you should be saving from the article page, not trying to save the PDF directly, though that should generally work too.)
