@caitken5: Yes, this was supposedly fixed by Cisco in March: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/486950/#Comment_486950 You should talk to your IT department and make sure you're on the latest version.

OK, see that page for things to check and what we need if you're still having trouble.

You created a forum thread here and called it "zotero stopped working". You then clicked the save button on this page, so Zotero is saving this page, which has that title. That's what you're seeing in the screenshot. Again, you can go to literally a…

Do you have the Zotero app open on your computer? Can you provide a Report ID from Zotero? If so, follow the steps on https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/connector_zotero_unavailable and tell us exactly what you tried and what happened at each step. …

No, you're confused here. That's the title of this thread — those are words that you wrote. All your screenshot shows is you saving this forums page to the online library. If you save another page it will show some other page title.
-
Again, if you're getting some error, you'll need to share a screenshot. Your screenshot shows a successful save to the online library. I have no idea what "Zotero stopped working" is referring to.

These are forums, not real-time chat. We often respond quickly here, but you do not say "Hello?" if you haven't heard from us in 13 minutes. https://www.zotero.org/support/forum_guidelines#be_patient

What's what you see? I don't know what you're saying here. If you want our help, please take the time to say more about the exact problem you're experiencing — what you're doing, what you expect to happen, and what's happening instead. See steps to …

OK, and what's not working? That shows it saving directly to your online library. If you're trying to save to the Zotero app, make sure that it's running, restart your browser, and see https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/connector_zotero_unavailable …

(Right, thanks.)

What do you mean by "I have set up maximum value for indexing"? How large is the file in C:\Users\[username]\Zotero\storage\Q5FDU7LY?
-
The maximum path length for Windows is 260 characters. That file would be 332 characters. You'll need to save at a higher path in your filesystem or rename some of the intermediate components to be shorter. You can also try enabling long paths in W…

Can you provide some screenshots of what you're seeing?

You'll need to say what the actual problem is that you're experiencing. See Steps to Reproduce for the kind of description we need.

We aren't able to use the same annotation component between the reader and the item pane for technical reasons, which is why those aren't editable right now, but yes, we'll try to make them editable in a future version. Re: the tag selector, note t…

The way you save to Zotero is by using the Save to Zotero button. https://www.zotero.org/support/adding_items_to_zotero#via_your_web_browser Automatic import of citation metadata files (RIS/BibTeX/EndNote) is a feature that previously existed in t…

(Just to be clear, Zotero 5 was released in 2017.)

You didn’t answer all of my questions.

We always need an example URL for problems with saving. If you're having trouble saving across many sites, see Troubleshooting Problems Saving to Zotero. (And to be clear, by "downloading citations" you mean clicking the Zotero Connector's Save to …

Yes, that means that upload failed. I'm afraid we can't help further with this. You can try from a different network, try with a different WebDAV provider, or switch to Zotero Storage. Zotero works with properly configured WebDAV servers.
-
Oh, sorry, I misread the size. It's 19 MB, not 191 MB, so that uploaded file is correct. In any case, we'd need to see a debug output for a longer sync.
-
It depends on what exactly you need to search for. You can also use nested saved searches. But if constructing a search that matches just attachments is complicated, you can also use the code from @tnajdek above.

Is there an idea why so spacious information was uploaded to Zotero cloud? I'm not sure what you mean by that. I'm saying it's being uploaded to your WebDAV server. How big is the P3UFG6UM.zip file on your WebDAV server? The upload shown in your de…

no, I work mainly with Surface Well, but do you have it set to download files "as needed" on your PC? If files don't exist locally, "Attachment Content" wouldn't search them, and if there's a bug with memory usage related to that, it wouldn't show u…

The files should already be renamed based on the metadata, unless you've changed the renaming format or edited metadata since the files were added. Beyond that, see https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/123773/file-renaming-batch-rename-filenames-fr…

You can just also construct a search (quick search or advanced search) that matches only attachments (e.g., [Attachment File Type] [is] [PDF] in advanced search), do Ctrl-A to select search matches, press Enter if you're in an advanced search to sel…

Do you have different local files on the two computers? E.g., do you have it set to download files "as needed" and not have some files locally? Can you provide a Debug ID from the Surface for reproducing this?

What specific search conditions? "Attachment Content"? Presumably this doesn't happen if you just search by Title.
