Well, you're welcome to try the Zotero 7.1 beta and let us know if you still see it. But there's no particular need to do that if you don't already want to run the beta for other reasons.

Can you create a public share link for the cleared copy where you can still reproduce this and send it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread? A Debug ID from Zotero for reproducing this could also be helpful.

Did you restart Word to confirm that the Zotero toolbar was gone before reinstalling? If not, you should do that.

We'd need to see example ISBNs, but there's no conversion between Chinese characters in pinyin in Zotero. As bwiernik says, Zotero simply imports the data that's available from the ISBN metadata sources.

Right, only the PDF reader is relevant. PDFs have a hidden text layer that may not be perfectly aligned with the visual image. Webpages just have text.

Linked files do not sync, by definition (as it says in the section I linked to).

The Zotero Connector for Safari is bundled with the Zotero app, so you can't update it separately. Apple only allows Safari extensions to be distributed via apps.
