Typing and pasting are different, though. Zotero doesn't parse Markdown or math on paste right now. We're planning to support Markdown import in some way at some point, and we'll think about parsing math nodes as part of that.

(And yes, this is the issue here. You're trying to save to one of the groups with file editing disabled.)

File editing is a setting in the group settings online. Private groups default to allowing file editing, so this is something you turned off (or you converted from a public open group, which doesn't allow file editing).

For problems with a plugin, you'll need to contact the plugin developer, but I would guess that the plugin now requires Zotero 7. You can upgrade via Help → Check for Updates.

That's working fine for me. Can you reproduce in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”)? If so, we'd want to see a Debug ID for doing so.
